I was sitting there, waiting for Sebastian’s mother to get here. She was my bridesmaid, and her husband was going to walk me down the aisle. Today was the day that my life would finally be complete. I would get to marry the one I’ve loved for five years now. I heard a gentle knock on the door, and I went to receive it. My soon to be mother in-law walked in. Her light gray bridesmaid dress was so pretty against her light skin. She came over to me, and gave the gentle curls a small lift. “Oh, dear. You’re so, so pretty.” I smiled. “Thank you. You look wonderful yourself.” She smiled at me, and we both were talking for a little while. Sebastian’s father walked in, and soon took my arm. “Are you ready dear?” I nodded my head, excited. We got out there, and the music started to play. I got up there, and my crisp white gloved hands were soon placed in Sebastian hands. There was a big wide smile on his face.
I smiled back at him through my veil. Vows were proclaimed, and the veil was pulled back. I smiled at him again, and he smiled as well. A kiss was placed, sealing our pact. After a few seconds, and loud cheering later, we were in the main event room where all the food was. We were sitting at our table, and Sebastian leaned over, whispering to me. “I’m going to never let you go.” I smiled, and placed a gentle kiss on his cheek. “I love you too, Sebastian.” He smiled, a gentle smile. The night went by in a blur, a good blur filled with food, dancing, and light drinking. We were in our room when Sebastian paused by the big mirror to unbutton his button up. “How are you feeling, Sebastian?” I smiled, taking out my earrings. “Lovely. Just, utterly lovely.” He smiled at me, the gentle light from the lamp made his eyes seem like they had fireflies in them. I let him shower first because I needed to get my jewels off, and that would take forever to do. He had helped in getting the back of my dress unzipped, and soon he was off and into the show er. I was happy. I got the dress off and all hung up, and put a robe over me.
--------(Fast forward 7 years later)--
I came up behind Sebastian, and gave him a hug. He laughed, cheerfully. “So, what did you have to tell me?” He asked, and I moved the manilla envelope in front of him. “This.” He opened the envelope, read the contents, and soon turned around. I had let go of him so that I could give him the envelope, and soon felt his arms around me. “We’re gonna be parents!” I smiled happily. “What are we going to name the baby?” I frowned a little, and as I was thinking, he brought me to the living room. Once settled on the couch, and still thinking, I got an idea. “Ah, how about Arianna if it’s a girl, and Miles if it’s a boy.” He nodded his head.
--------(Arianna is born)--
I smiled as I looked into the light pink coloured crib, looking at the small chubby face that was framed by a gentle white blanket. And, there you were Arianna. A beautiful, chubby faced baby. “Look at her sleeping.. I’m so proud of her, you, just, I'm so proud of everything.” I smiled at [Mr. Delmire’s name]. “I’m proud too. And, I want to write her a letter every year after her birthday, summing up every year that she’s here in this house. And then give them to her when she is eighteen, watching her face as it changes, hearing her laughter through reading these embarrassing letters.” He laughed, smiling. “How about we do that? Let her know how much we love her, and all that we’ve learned by watching her grow into a fine young lady.” I smiled, Arianna sneezed, and Sebastian and I laughed. Pressing a light kiss on her forehead, we shut out the light. Sebastian was all showered and shaved, laying in our bed as I sat down at the small desk. “Are you going to write it now?” I turned a little, looking over my shoulder. “If I don’t, I'll forget!” I giggled, and he smiled. “Alright then.”
“Dearest Arianna. It’s July 17th, 2008; your birthday.
I want you to know that I love you. I love your smiles, giggles, sneezes, and even when you scare me by coughing while eating. You’re such a funny little baby. And a cute chubby one at that. You enjoy splashing around in the little washbin, throwing your clean diapers across the floor so that you can try and crawl away from your daddy while he tries to hold you as you’re getting changed. You enjoy smiling, it seems to be your hobby. You even smile a lot in your sleep! You have a favorite blanket, which has to be with you at all times. I put it in the wash, and you started to sob for a whole hour! Then you had the hiccups after that for a good twentyish minutes. Your father was so scared when that happened. Let's see.. Ah. You said ‘mama’ to your daddy, and it was your first word! You have this rubber duck that you enjoy throwing during car rides. You threw it onto the floor, and you pouted for five minutes before crying. That was the longest you’ve pouted this year! I love dressing you up in a little pair of overalls that have a little bumble bee patch on them. You like the frilly socks, they keep you quiet for a few hours every morning. You learned how to take them off, and throw them out of your playpen, as well as throwing your duck, blanket, and other little toys. You were so tired one day, that you face planted into the big stuffed bear your daddy got for you at the store for your birthday this year! You’re growing into a big and strong girl, and I’m so happy that I get to continue to watch you grow. Even if I don’t say it to you a lot when you get older and more able to understand, I want you to know that I will always love you, no matter what you do, or who you become. You’ll always be my daughter.

I smiled, slipped it into an envelope and put it into a drawer in the desk. After taking care of myself, I went to bed. Arianna started crying in what felt like twenty minutes, when in reality, it was only six in the morning. I got up, and went to her while Sebastian went to go get her breakfast ready. I changed her diaper, bathed, oiled and powdered her little bum, and got her dressed. “Are you ready to see what your daddy has for you?” Arianna gave off an excited squeal as she kept on saying “Uh oh!” occasionally. I smiled, and kissed the top of her head. “Uh oh to what?” She giggled, and said it again. I placed her in her highchair, and she started her rhythmic routine of slamming down her little utensils, bowl, and spilling her milk while crying out in a gleeful state: “Uh oh!” We cleaned up after her, and once she was satisfied with food, we put her to play. She was walking around her playpen, her dark hair bobbing with every little run she would take. She fell over, but landed on her bear plush. I picked her up, and put her on her feet again. She continued to zoom around her play pen, which made me and Sebastian laugh.
--------(Madee is born :3)--
Arianna was such a smiley thing. Especially when her baby sister had come. “Mama, what would she have been called if she was a boy? I smiled at her. “Well, Arianna, she would have had your daddy’s name, Sebastian.” She smiled wider. “What’s her name again?” Sebastian lifted Madee’s car seat onto the couch. “Madelyn Astoria Delmire.” I watched Arianna as she scrambled onto the couch. “She’s so pretty!” I laughed. “Just like you Ari.” She turned her head and looked at me, her chubby face turned into a frown. “Mnnn.. I think you’re pretty too.” I scooped her up and into my lap as Sebastian pulled Madee out of her car seat. “I think we’re all pretty.” She smiled wider, and giggled. “But, how come you put stuff on your face, and daddy doesn’t? Does that make him less pretty?” I laughed, and Sebastian did too. Madee squealed, and started crying. “Ah, no. It’s called makeup. You’ll get some when you’re older.” She nodded her head, but focused on her sister. Sebastian pulled Arianna over, and let her look upon the chubby crying mass. “She’s so chubby!” I smiled. “You were like that too, Ari.” She frowned a little as she poked her sobbing sister's chubby cheek. “Stop crying.. No more sad for you.” Sebastian and I couldn’t help but quietly chortle at that. Arianna muttered something to Madee, which Madee slowly stopped crying, and giggled.
Madee seemed to make Arianna a little jealous. “Why do you always get mama and daddy’s attention? What’s so special?” I overheard her ask, and Madee just gurgled in delight, making grabby hands to Arianna’s hair. “Do you like the colour pink?” Madee gurgled again, giggling. “Hmm..” I was watching her now, but I knew she wouldn’t do anything to Madee. “Do you think we should put her in a tutu?” I said, which made Arianna jump, and Madee laughed hard. “Can we dye her hair pink?” I smiled, shaking my head. “No, love. See, she barely has any hair!” Arianna frowned, and moved her hand over Madee’s thick but tight-to-her-head dark hair. “But, she has hair.” I smiled. “But, not enough to dye it. We’ll dye it when she gets older, how about that?” Arianna’s head bobbed in delight. “Yay!” I smiled, and watched her run out of the room. I picked up the Madee sized bundle, and brought it into the kitchen. Arianna was talking to her father as they walked in. “And then, then, she made a weird sound. I dunno what it was, but it was a weird sound.” Sebastian laughed, and Madee gurgled, giggled, and then squealed in rage when she couldn’t reach her father. “See! There she goes making that sound!” Sebastian laughed as he took her from me.
“You made those sounds too when you were a baby, Ari.” Arianna scrambled into her chair, and looked at the food that we were going to be eating for lunch. “Really?” I nodded my head. “Mhm. You would do that, and then squirm around.” Arianna giggled, and soon was watching as I handed her father the bottle for Madee. “And, you would also have this rubber duck you would hurl across the car, room, or just anything you could throw it in or at.” She giggled, and I soon handed her a plate of food. “Mac and cheese?” I nodded, and she squealed. “I love mac and cheese!” I smiled. “Well, I didn’t know that!” She giggled, and shoved a spoonful into her mouth. Madee was taking her bottle down like she hadn’t eaten in a long while. “Woah! Look at her go, Thealea! She’s taking it down just fine.” I smiled at Madee, and placed a kiss on Arianna’s head, Madee’s head, and gave a kiss to my husband too. Madee made a big belch when we burped her, and that made us all laugh, including her.
“Did I do that as a baby?” I smiled. “Mhm, you would do that to get our attention when you wanted more as well.” She giggled. “Eww!” I smiled, and gave her another kiss on the head. “Well, how about we get you some ice cream?” She squealed in delight. “Can I have cotton candy? Please?” I smiled. “Oh, look at those beautiful manners!” She giggled, and Sebastian laughed. Madee made another gurgling noise, and soon spit up right on her fathers shirt, giggling about it before full on laughing. Sebastian handed Madee over to me, and went to go take care of his shirt. Arianna smiled as she made a fake scowl. “Oh little Madee! Why’d you do that?” It was a very unsuccessful scowl, but I must give her some credit in trying. Madee was just giggling, gurgling, and hiccuping in delight. I was happy, truly happy.
-------(two years later)--
Arianna and Madee were playing in the living room and Sebastian was watching them. Madee had her favorite stuffed animal in her arms, and was chasing Arianna around. I came in, smiling. “Madee, do you wanna pick up a gift for your sister?” Madee ran over to me. “Yes!” I smiled. “You do!” She giggled, giving off a determined look. “Yes!” Arianna was soon sitting on the couch with her dad. “Do I get to spend time with my daughter?” I nodded my head. “Mhm. We’ll be back in a bit.” Arianna smiled. “This is going to be the best birthday ever.” I picked up Madee. “Aw, little girl, where are your socks and shoes?” Arianna and Madee giggled. “I dunno.” I sighed, and Arianna was squealing now, trying to cover it by hiding behind her father. I set Madee down, and we made an avid hunt for those little shoes and socks. Once finding them, Madee started to run around, making sure that I would never catch her. Once she was caught, I put them on, and brought her to our car. I took the personal car that Sebastian had gotten for my birthday a year ago. It was a 2017 Rolls Royce Dawn. Such a pretty jet black car, a convertible at its best too. I had loved the make and model of it, and so he got it for me. I buckled her all up in her car seat, and soon went into the driver's side. Sebastian stopped me before I started to pull out. “Hey.. don’t you think that you should be driven today?”
I shook my head. “Oh, love. Being chauffeured around makes me think I belong on a shelf. I am not some delicate object to be carted around.” He gave off a weary sigh. “Please, just let someone else drive you today.” I smiled. “Trust me on this Sebsatian. I can drive myself.” He sighed, and placed a kiss on my cheek. “I love you, you know that right? Stay safe.” I giggled. “I love you too. And, I promise we will be back.” He nodded his head, gave me another kiss, and lifted Arianna up so that I could give her a kiss too. “I love you, Arianna.” She smiled. “I love you too mama!” Arianna and Sebastian backed away, so that I could pull out of the garage. I honked the horn, and waved to get a happy wave back. I put on some light music, and occasionally glanced at Madee who was sitting in the back seat holding her bear, falling asleep. I got to the intersection, and waited for the light to turn green. I pulled out, and there was a car that moved from its lane, coming straight towards me. I tried swerving to the right, and the car slammed into mine.
