“Mom, I’m gonna take a walk outside!” I say from upstairs.

“But Bailey, it's 11:37, isn’t it a little late?” My mom said, pretty worried.

“I’ll be fine mom, love you.”

I walked out the door and went to the park to walk around, but it didn’t feel right. I was getting anxiety and this weird feeling I should walk somewhere else, but then something caught my eye. I looked at the chained gate that blocks the park from the empty lot. It was 11:53 at this point so I decided to go back home. Right as I was about to go, I saw a figure in the distance, It looked like a male figure, I looked again and nothing was there. I decided to check out the parking lot so I walked to the chained gate. I couldn’t open it, and it was far too flimsy to jump over or climb. I checked the time and it was 12:09. It was pretty dark that every time I looked somewhere else, my eyes had to adjust. I was trying to figure out the lean structure but couldn’t completely see it. So I got closer, I decided it wasn’t enough so I decided to get inside the borders of the lot.
