Eternalcycle
Our ancestors have lived in a cycle that has suffocated them like a rope around their necks. Their little minds' clarity only distinguished their instinctive desires, like every creature ruled by survival, but time passed by, and that was not enough. Throughout centuries of history, we have observed how the barbarism developed by the tribal hordes has spread like a disease. Taking countless civilizations, blossoming realms, fallen empires, leaving a trace of their downfall, spreading to anyone that gets near, engulfing them, deforming their morality, ethics, values, and breaking any small honor and honor trait dignity that remains in humanity. Creating an awful excuse for justice to get what they want; some dare calls it a necessary purge.
In the past,"warrior" was a title earned through honorable deeds, struggle, bravery, and courage, guided by convictions, loyalty to their beliefs, and allowed the wind to change its direction when aggression is not needed. At this moment in time, not so many deserve that title. I have seen those who are a mockery of this, how their eyes get darkened, losing the brightness of innocence, waking up in a nightmare from which they can never leave, losing their hopes into the void's darkness. Those who immerse themselves in the art of war can follow orders without hesitation, sacrificing themselves in the fury of battle. Blinded by its malevolent mist, losing the will to live for their ideal while others try to save as many as possible, evoking their efforts to protect those they love, even strangers.
Swords clashes and explosions fill the air as part of the baleful orchestra that announces some humans' truth. Life is not as crucial as property. A piece of land has more value than the people who live on it, and that the beliefs of few can control the majority's freedom by promises of power over others. These promises are the lugubrious chorus that accompanies the symphony that crushes the dreams and devours the innocence. Violence is a malevolent plague and its highest expression in war.
Even so, some try to keep us away from the clutches of destruction by healing, protecting, saving others, two sides of the same coin that forged our legacy from our nation's bowels. However, the violence continues, even in the most glorious moments.
Some humans have learned how to forgive; others have found the strength and skills to keep moving or loyalty that is a rare gem brought to those in need, while at the end, honor becomes part of the needed food for our spirit. Only, because of these people, the light can touch us for a little while, but not everybody thinks in this way or wants help,
However, I have hope that knowledge and accumulated experiences will enlighten the path of the generations to come, preventing them from making the same mistakes of the past, but this a temporary escape, a bridge for the bloody lake that covers the present offenders.
Some may delay the spread of violence, others may avoid it, but it takes all humankind to stop its eternal cycle.
