Feel free to skip this and go straight to the story! The first chapter is 'Rebirth' as a sort of prologue.

I'm afraid this is still very much a rough first draft, although I'd like to think it's a little more polished than my very first attempt.

This story started as a NaNoWriMo project in 2017, one which I struggled with a lot and ended up going half-half on with another story I was thinking about at the time. It's one of those that sticks around in my head and I think about every now and then, and after finishing Uni in mid 2022 I decided I wanted to take a shot at NaNoWriMo again and found I was still super passionate about this story!

So long story short, I did a lot more planning and figuring out where this was going to go and took it up as my NaNoWriMo project for 2022. A year later, and I still found I had a lot to say so I picked it up yet again for 2023, and here we are, over 100,000 words later and I'm still not done. Not even close.

Chapters are unfortunately waaaaaaaaaaaay way too long to fit into the character limit for updates, so those are going to be split up. There will be a few awkward bits where I can't find a good break for an update, and in those cases there will be multiple updates in one go.
