Three things up front, before we get started!

1. This is the first time I’ve written a story from scratch in English. It’s not my native language, so don’t be too harsh on any mistakes, please.

2. The entire story is based on a dream I had a couple of weeks ago. I didn’t change much, I added a beginning and an ending, I removed some details that didn’t make sense and added a little more content. The characters and plot overall were not changed.

3. Be ready for a few cheap twists. This goes back to point 2, I didn't use the time to restructure the dream. This is a first draft, so don't go into this expecting a 50,000 word story with deep themes. This is just for fun!
