Owen wakes up from a work event hungover, to find himself in a ruined apartment as monsters attempt to take him out. Confused how the world had changed so drastically after a few hours of sleep, he rushed to his family home in search of his estranged parents. There, he is faced with a confusing new reality - portraits of his now-assumed dead family with a boy who isn't him.
Left shaken by this unknown “brother,” Owen searches for remnants of anyone left alive - but this supposed brother, Asher, is haunted by anger from a 'fake' approaching him claiming to be a sibling.
Trust is scarce, and survival of the fittest is the only truth. Owen must prove himself in this worn-torn world he's trapped in. Two strangers forced together by fate and blood tie. The end of the world doesn't need heroes; it needs family.
