Metronome definition

a device used by musicians that marks time at a selected rate by giving a regular tick.

Metronome Purpose

to provide a steady, audible pulse at a set tempo (measured in beats per minute or BPM), helping musicians and others develop and maintain a sense of rhythm and timing.

Any instrument that helps produce a certain sound.....and yes, your voice is an instrument. We just sometimes give you a microphone to project it out loud.
