Chapter 1: El Tico vs El Volcan Loco

·       Wide shot of Alajuela, Costa Rica. The city sprawls beneath the majestic Poás Volcano in the background.

·       El Tico stands on a rooftop, his full-body zentai suit gleaming in the sunlight, the Costa Rican flag design (blue, white, red with the coat of arms) covering him from head to toe.

·       EL TICO: Another peaceful day in my beloved Alajuela. Perfect for a vigilante break with some coffee and—

·       An explosion erupts from the central market.

·       SFX: KABOOM!

·       El Tico dramatically poses, his zentai suit rippling in the wind.

·       EL TICO: Or perhaps not! El Tico never rests when Alajuela needs him!

·       El Tico dramatically leaps off the building.

·       EL TICO: PURA VIDA POWER JUMP!

·       El Tico lands awkwardly in a pile of fruit crates.

·       SFX: CRASH!

·       EL TICO: Note to self: work on the landing.

·       People run screaming from the market as a shadowy figure emerges from the smoke.

·       CITIZEN: ¡Ayuda! It's El Volcán Loco!

·       We see the villain: EL VOLCÁN LOCO, a muscular figure in a black and orange suit with lava-like patterns and a mask resembling a volcanic eruption.

·       EL VOLCÁN LOCO: CITIZENS OF ALAJUELA! Your precious city will soon be mine! Just like Poás Volcano, I WILL ERUPT WITH FURY!

·       El Volcán Loco hurls a fireball at a fruit stand.

·       EL VOLCÁN LOCO: My heat will consume everything!

·       SFX: FWOOSH!

·       El Tico slides in front of terrified citizens, deflecting the fireball with a trash can lid.

·       EL TICO: The only thing getting consumed today is your evil plan, Volcán Loco!

·       El Volcán Loco turns, surprised.

·       EL VOLCÁN LOCO: Ah! The famous El Tico! I was wondering when Costa Rica's flag-wrapped fool would appear!

·       El Tico strikes a pose, pointing dramatically.

·       EL TICO: That's NATIONAL HERO El Tico to you! Your reign of terror ends now!

·       El Volcán Loco laughs maniacally.

·       EL VOLCÁN LOCO: Oh? And what will you do? Blind me with your colorful outfit?

·       El Tico reaches behind his back.

·       EL TICO: No... I'll cool you down with...

·       El Tico pulls out a super soaker water gun.

·       EL TICO: MY SUPER HYDRO BLASTER!

·       El Volcán Loco looks unimpressed.

·       EL VOLCÁN LOCO: ...Is that a children's toy?

·       El Tico squirts water at El Volcán Loco, who easily sidesteps it.

·       EL TICO: It's... still in development.

·       El Volcán Loco hurls more fireballs as El Tico acrobatically dodges.

·       EL VOLCÁN LOCO: You're a joke! How did you ever become Alajuela's hero?

·       El Tico does a ridiculous backflip to avoid a fireball, accidentally landing in a fountain.

·       EL TICO: With style, determination, and—

·       SFX: SPLASH!

·       El Tico, now soaking wet but with an idea forming.

·       EL TICO: —and adaptability!

·       El Tico fills his super soaker from the fountain.

·       EL TICO: Time for Plan B!

·       El Volcán Loco approaches, hands glowing with fire.

·       EL VOLCÁN LOCO: Any last words before I turn you into a Costa Rican flag-themed barbecue?

·       El Tico notices a fruit cart filled with watermelons nearby.

·       EL TICO: Yes! Have you ever heard of the Alajuelan Watermelon Festival?

·       El Volcán Loco looks confused.

·       EL VOLCÁN LOCO: What? No, I—

·       El Tico kicks the cart, sending watermelons rolling toward El Volcán Loco.

·       EL TICO: It's a SMASHING good time!

·       El Volcán Loco stumbles on the watermelons.

·       EL VOLCÁN LOCO: Wha—AAAH!

·       SFX: SLIP! CRASH!

·       El Volcán Loco falls into a large decorative fountain in the plaza.

·       SFX: SPLOOSH!

·       Steam rises as El Volcán Loco's powers fizzle in the water.

·       EL VOLCÁN LOCO: NOOOO! My powers! Water is my weakness!

·       El Tico stands triumphantly at the fountain's edge.

·       EL TICO: Of course it is! You're a volcano! Basic geology, amigo!

·       El Tico poses for the gathering crowd, zentai suit still dripping wet but the colors vibrant.

·       EL TICO: Citizens of Alajuela! El Tico has saved the day!

·       The crowd cheers while police arrive to arrest the defeated El Volcán Loco.

·       CROWD: ¡Viva El Tico! ¡Pura Vida!

·       A reporter approaches El Tico.

·       REPORTER: El Tico! Who are you beneath that mask? The people want to know!

·       El Tico strikes a mysterious pose.

·       EL TICO: A hero never reveals his secret identity! I could be anyone in Alajuela...

·       El Tico's stomach growls loudly.

·       SFX: GRRRROWL!

·       El Tico looks embarrassed, hand on stomach.

·       EL TICO: Except right now, I'm someone who needs lunch! Fighting evil works up an appetite!

·       El Tico backflips dramatically.

·       EL TICO: Until next time, Alajuela! Stay safe and Pura Vida!

·       El Tico attempts to swing away on a clothesline but it breaks.

·       SFX: SNAP!

·       El Tico falls into a pile of cardboard boxes.

·       SFX: CRASH!

·       El Tico emerges from the boxes, giving a thumbs up.

·       EL TICO: I meant to do that! Superhero exit strategy!

·       Wide shot of Alajuela as the sun sets, with a tiny El Tico figure limping away while still striking heroic poses.

·       CAPTION: And so, Alajuela rests easy once more, protected by its silliest, coolest, most patriotic hero... EL TICO!

·       EL TICO (distant): I should really invest in a better exit strategy!
