Reincarnation

Reincarnation

Aug 08, 2023

The world Verldura compromises three major realms: The lush green realm located in the northern part of the world, Alfheim of the Elves.
The rocky mountain realm located from the southeast border of the world, Svatalfeim of the Dwarves.
The scientific realm located in the eastern of the world, Midgard of the humans.
Flip...
There's also the western part of the world, surrounded by a black forest.
Though not much is known, it is said to have many hidden treasures within.
But a large percentage of the place still remained unknown due having multiple unranked monsters said to be from ancient times, the dangers of riches, Thren Woods.
Flip...
The world tree Yggdrasil, one of the few foundations of Verldura.
The world tree's roots extends far beyond what living things can imagine, it is also said that the peak of the tree houses an Elixir that gives whoever drinks it Eternal Life.
Flip...
Alfheim the land of the elves, is compromised of lush green forests and rivers, with a kingdom located at the center of the realm ruled by the royal bloodline of the Elves, the kingdom of Eldoria.
Flip...
Svatalfeim the land of the dwarves, is compromised of rocky terrain and a range of mountains spanning over their borders.
Their creative minds allowed their civilization to thrive more than any other race, they are also called the father of weapons due to how high the quality of their creations possesses, with a kingdom protected by the earth, the kingdom of Mithrihall.
Flip...
Midgard is the land of humans, compromises of plains suitable for farming, and building.
With a kingdom of mages and swordsmen, a school was built to nourish future generations alongside its foundations, the kingdom of Arboria.
….
Have you ever wondered why we're alive? Or do you ever believe that after death there's another life for you to fulfill?
What's the meaning of life?
You may have read countless stories of reincarnation and transmigration in your life for you to put your delusions to the top.
Yet here I am in a place seemingly bright, so bright that even if you turn your head 360 degrees you won't see anything, only white.
Did I die?
How am I conscious?'
I'm hungry
Questions erupted from my mind; I couldn't fathom how I arrived in this situation.
Perhaps, I'm only dreaming?
No, it can't be, after all.
"I can't remember anything,"
*Bloom*
Except for this certain language I'm currently using. I can't remember anything.
'Did I die?'
'Anyways let's leave it at that.'
The White blinding room I was in seemed to shake from time to time, adding another sense of uneasiness in my presence.
Next, after what seemed like an eternity in that white-shaking room, my eye sockets finally started moving.
It was a slow and painful procedure, it also took a little bit of time for my eyes to get used to blinding lights.
Light colors bombarded my vision as my retina slowly twitched in and out before settling for stability.
The room I was in seemed to be a shack or house in the medieval ages, the place was run dimly, and lighting the room was a couple of sticks of candles swaying as the fire blaze off with the winds.
My ears at the same time were ringing in what seemed like red noise, echoing in my head as my heart thumped with its beat.
'Where am I?"
I tried to voice out, but what I let out was something different.
'Huh?'
Instead of the usual voice I hear in my head, what I heard was a cry of an infant.
So, I actually died, though I don't remember anything.
Judging by the cries I let out, I knew I was reborn.
God must have plans, anyway.
I should just accept my fate, though things might just be better if I didn't have this kind of consciousness when I'm just an infant.
Lying there for a few minutes, my eyes shifted across the room, and I could see someone approaching me.
It was a female human, and she was, perhaps I should call her my mother?
My mother had long black hair, her brownish eyes rosy in the middle of the shady room, her skin gleaming, as she approached me.
I peeled my face towards to my right, and barely made out the face of what seemed to be my father.
Perhaps because my vision was still a little blurry that I didn't clearly see his face.
"Luis" his masculine voice called, he also had long hair with greenish retinas, and his body was built like a rock.
I could see some muscle popping out as he extended his arm, touching my temples as he said.
"Call me dada"
Ahh…
What an idiotic father, I guess I shouldn't have expected better from him, with that overly wide grin on his face.
I should be the one raising this Goddamn of a father
Wait…
Nah...
Too much work…
The following days was the definition of hell as my control over my body wasn't really in my grasp yet.
It was so hard that even peeing needed the assistance of towels, in the form of diapers.
The medieval-style place seemed to be my parent's house, and unfortunately, we had no other source of energy and had to rely on candles and lamps to simply light our house.
'Anyways, where the hell actually am I?'
I noticed this after staying and learning about this world, that this world relies on what you call mana, and magic.
Yes, mana
How do I know this?
Duh, because I witnessed it
Occasionally getting a glimpse of how this world works, I saw my mother put fire in the freaking stove with his hands, yes 'hands.'
Hell, if I didn't know better, I would freak out and jump out of the window.
Though not that I can do it.
My mother was named Lisa Hausner, and my father is Victor Hausner, having been taken care by them, i knew that they at least seemed to be good people.
As time passed I got to know a little more of this world.
But what I couldn't fathom was how people carried, weapons in their waist and backs, like it was some kind of fashion statement.
Like isn't that dangerous?
Even my father, after getting some firewood always had a sword in his waist, eventually polishing it after dinner in front of his family, carefree.
*Sigh*
What a crazy world.
Anyways, back to the topic.
In the mornings my mother always carried me on her back when she goes shopping occasionally talking to me on the way to town.
Maybe because she wanted me to learn their language faster, she kept on talking to me.
Our small trips consisted of greeting people on the way and shopping for groceries in the town, and soon after I memorized our trip location.
Hell if it wasn't for this lazy infant body, I would have circled It months ago.
Then one day, something peculiar happened, I swear I was just sitting atop my mother's lap when I witnessed something unbelievable happen.
My father was practicing what seemed to be his swordsmanship when his sword eventually ignited.
Yes, you read it right 'ignited' What's more is how he sliced a tree in half, and it actually split like how?
*Sigh*
A really crazy world.
'I swear for an infant like me who always turns his head for a few seconds because I have the attention span of a goldfish' that his 'sword' started burning, and when he landed his blow, the tree just split in half.
Crazy.
From what I realized this world is pretty supportive of the fact that there are warriors, adventurers, and mages, and the fact that there is an energy called mana.
Being gifted with mana, you'll get stronger with magic and spells, and when you're a warrior you'll only have Qi, or what you call life energy.
Enough about that though.
The currency used here in this world is simple, to explain it further, gold is the highest currency you can get and then silver follows, and lastly copper.
Normal families can live with just a few coins of silver every month, whilst influential families spend over thirty gold a month.
That's equivalent to thousand of breads of we're comparing.
Having live my life, my every day consisted of honing my grasp over my body, eventually changing things in my life, for the better.
