In a distant village in the southwest of the Republic, by the Narie River, a child was born. They celebrated the birth of a healthy baby. Five months later, the old nanny suddenly cried out:

"Accursed child!"

She pointed her finger at the baby. Several men, including the village chief, tried to calm her down, but after the child's father looked at him with horror in his eyes, he fell silent. He gazed at his infant, a multitude of thoughts swirling in his mind as he watched the crying baby.
