In a distant village in the southwest of the Republic, by the Narie River, a child was born. They celebrated the birth of a healthy baby. Five months later, the old nanny suddenly cried out:
She pointed her finger at the baby. Several men, including the village chief, tried to calm her down, but after the child's father looked at him with horror in his eyes, he fell silent. He gazed at his infant, a multitude of thoughts swirling in his mind as he watched the crying baby.
After several rainy days of discussions among the men, on the third day, before his wife, the man, the father, declared:
"It is cursed..."
The mother tried to stop not only her husband but also a dozen enraged neighbors. They all feared the child, who had no hair on his body, like the demon Tiko. She fought desperately, but she couldn't withstand the fanatic villagers. Her child was cast into a barrel and then into the raging river. Despite her cries, she couldn't reach these fanatical townsfolk.
