The day was supposed to be a happy day of jubilation, but everyone could feel some sort of dread hanging in the air.

Especially for Gale. The Happy-go-lucky young man that everyone loved seemed to have lost all his energy, and even more so, his happiness. His blonde hair seemed to grow grey these past few days. His brown eyes seemed more tired than they usually were, and they almost looked as if they belonged to a lost puppy. His dark skin was starting to turn pale, and he was growing thinner and thinner every day. 

He had stopped eating and had planned to kill himself since the incident the week prior. He was cutting himself off from all of his friends and family, and he had been rotting internally for a long time. He didn't want to be in a world without her. But he pressed on regardless. 

Just one more day.

For her.

As he drove on, all he could think of was what happened that night.
