Far in the past a battle broke out between the Negative and the overworld.
The Negative are self explanatory. Creatures that feed on and amplify negativity. Led by a ruthless queen. The Negative took charge.
Across the field warriors stood led by three specific.
These three where known as the chaos keepers.
The reaper, the demon , and the vampire, armed with weapons of a particular power, launched across the battlefields slicing each foe in their way.
The queen stopped the charge.
The warriors did the same.
Meeting at middle they each stood their ground.
There was a wave of anticipation across both sides. Suddenly the leaders clashed. The sound of what could be described as a tuning fork rang out.
The Chaos Keepers stood as the opposing queen lay on the ground.
“You…” she grumbles. “I’ll get you for this…”
But before she could lift a limb, the reaper had slashed its scythe though the air creating a rift.
“You and your kind have no place here. You have harmed too many and for that, you shall never return”
A Light flashed and the opponents had vanished.
The reaper sealed up the rift.
“What now,” the vampire mutters. “What's left for them?” they softly motion to the crowd of warriors.
These warriors had included those who knew how to fight, those who didn't, a mix of brave men, woman, and others who followed passionately.
“Their things where destroyed.” the demon quietly hissed.
“Well let’s rebuild here. The field has plenty of room plus we can keep watch in case the rift breaks.”
That had settled it, with the help of the people a new town called GhostSpirit was built.
Peace at last
But for how long…
Fast forward hundreds of years.
Two woman and a man make their way though a crystal cave.
“This better be the way,” grumbles the demon named Lauren. “I’m DIYING to smash something!”
“Girl, if I have to tell you one more time, this cave is made of CRYSTAL! Do you want it to collapse and us to be stuck here?” Cynthia pipes up.
The vampire, Kurt just sighs. “I get it, we are tired and have been looking for for what feels like hours but we can't let some silly argument get in our way.”
The girls look at each other and apologize.
“Now lets go,” Kurt starts to lead the way though the tunnel.
They all feel a wave of fear rush over them.
“ITS HER!” Lauren unsheaves her sword and dashes forward into an open crystal room.
Standing in the middle is a woman with bright indigo hair, red eyes, and a purple and red one piece suit. She smirks.
Cynthia and Kurt catch up, their weapons out and ready for battle.
“Oh, how cute,” the woman coos. “What makes you think you can beat me in my own territory, huh?”
The three look at each other as the queen of the negative laughs.
“W-what was the plan again?” Whispers Lauren.
“Beat her up and get out…” Kurt says confidently turning to look at Cynthia who nods in agreement.
“YOU WONT SEE THE LIGHT OF OUR SUN AGAIN NEG!” Shouts Cynthia dashing forward, scythe ready to slice.
The claws on Kurt's gloves glow a blood red and Lauren's sword bursts into flames as they follow up attacks.
Neg summons a dark force field. The weapons clang off of it. Neg just smiles and laughs.
To this Lauren snarls and charges up her sword more, she jabs at the force field witch shattered.
“DREAM BOY! GET US OUT!” Neg shouts. “Ill get you three another time…”
From the darkness of a corner, a man in a deep red turtleneck with static over his eyes and mouth steps into view. He snaps his fingers and Neg disappears. The man looks towards the three armed warriors.
“R U N”
Lauren, Cynthia, and Kurt look at each other before dashing down the crystal tunnel. An explosion is heard from behind. The cave rumbles and starts to collapse behind.
The three reach a crossroads. Cynthia quickly pulls out a skull shaped pendant, grabs her friends hands and yells “HOME!”
A bright yellow gold light surrounds the three before teleporting them outside the cave, and in front of a rift.
“Quickly, lets get out and close this damn thing!!” Cynthia orders.
“But we-”
“She retreated count it as a win!”
“Cynthia-”
“Please I don't want to be here anymore…” a tear rolls down Cynthia's cheek as she turns away.
“Ok…” nods Kurt.
Lauren takes Cynthia's hand as the three walk into the rift.
The other side of the rift a cool breeze blows the leaves of the trees. As they exit, Cynthia ready's her weapon. The scythe glows with a golden light as she slashes at the rift, sewing it up. It disappears.
Cynthia falls to her knees, crying.
Kurt and Lauren dash over to comfort her.
“I cant DO this anymore!” She sobs. “I want a normal life!”
Kurt and Lauren look at each other.
“Lets go home…” Kurt softly says and he helps Cynthia up.
A year after the rift. They part ways to different cities, still keeping in contact of course.
The rift had not gone, in fact it was waiting. Waiting for three new victums.
