Novelization of the Grand Epic Elemental comic

Book 1 of the Grand Epic Elemental trilogy

Leiyu is a wandering warrior who rescues a trade caravan from a group of bandits. He learns that they are heading westward to the Kingdom of Ishkhandar and offers to join them as a bodyguard. When he arrives in the kingdom, he meets Prince Thallios and they spend some time getting to know each other. When Ishkhandar is suddenly invaded and the situation seems dire, King Xenon tells Leiyu to escape with Prince Thallios and protect him with his life. He also tells Prince Thallios to seek out the legendary Sword of Ages so that he can come back and avenge the doomed kingdom. However, the quest for the legendary sword does not go quite as planned and Leiyu discovers that there is more to Prince Thallios than meets the eye.

The novelization differs slightly from the comic version since it has extra scenes and more details on the characters’ inner thoughts.
