— How long do I have to travel for until I reach a new kingdom?!

I said before groaning.

Everywhere I look, it’s just the luscious greenery of the trees, plants, my clothes. Wait no, that’s just the colour of my clothes. Anyhow, I’ve been travelling for about two days or so and so far it’s just a journey of self-discovery instead of a journey to my destination.

I grew up in The House of Windward, a family of aristocrats living way out in the boonies. It sucked living there, my parents are so stuck up with themselves.

— How many times do I have to tell you that being a travelling merchant is a waste of time, Owens?! 

My mom is much more stuck up than my cool-ish arrogant father. She just doesn’t know how to live for herself and instead follows my idiotic father in the boonies. He said that there is a certain charm in living in the boonies as an aristocrat. Yeah, there’s a charm to it: The charm of jealous eyes from the locals living in the boonies!

– But mom, I want to move into the city like my older siblings! They get to be living such a lavish lifestyle and I don’t! My stupid father wanted to live in the boonies because “there’s a certain charm to it.”

— Stop calling your own father stupid you…

Sigh That’s enough flashback from me. Long story short; I ran away from home as soon as I stole the family heirloom and ran away from home to become a travelling merchant when I was a mere fourteen-year-old child… Wait. How long has it been? It’s been five years since then. And I still can’t believe I haven’t found a cute girl that could travel with me.
