Introduction

Hello, everyone. I'm Dan Niel a.k.a Dan a.k.a DanzoKei, a comic artist and aspiring amateur writer.

This is my first English novel I've ever written, so I'm a bit nervous (English is not my first language). I haven't written anything for a very long time, but I'll try my best to deliver a story you will enjoy.

I would like to thank you my friend, Noriyuuart, for taking my commission for the novel cover since I'm currently busy with my own comic to do it myself! Also, my friend, AuthorCarola, for helping me proofread my story because grammar is still my weakness! <3

I used to want to be a writer back then because I wasn't sure if I would be able to pursue comic due to my skill. After my visit to the book store a few weeks ago, I started to feel this urge to try writing again.

Since I'm working on this novel along with my comic, I can't promise weekly updates but I'll try my best! <3

Soren has already given up on life until he meets a new hire, Brennan Ryan, who understands and shares his pain. As they grow closer, Soren finally learns what’s the meaning of happiness and unconditional love.

Soren Chuang knows he doesn’t deserve love. He’s the black sheep in his family. He doesn’t have anyone who he can call close friends. Romance is also out of the question. Even though he’s successful in his career as a graphic designer, it doesn’t mean anything to him when he keeps thinking of ending himself.

When a new hire, Brennan Ryan, joins the company, Soren is suddenly charged to train him under his wing. Brennan is the total opposite of him; He’s good looking, sociable, and is loved by the team. Soren is sure they wouldn’t get along—but the world works in a very weird way. As they spend more time together, Soren learns how he & Brennan might not be so different after all. Behind his sunny personality, Brennan hides a past that still haunts him till this day.

A story of two broken men who find comfort in each other as they begin a journey of healing, love, and happiness.
