I groggily slide our of my bead and plant my feet on my soft rug. The rug feels soft beneath my bony feet. I slowly walk to my dresser and take out a baggy shirt and pants. I make sure to also grab a bra because im in 10th grade and am growing. 

After getting dressed in the bathroom, I head downstairs. 

"Good morning olivia!" My mom greets me, giving me a hug "I can't believe your already in 10th grade!!" My  mom seems proud in a way. I sigh and sit at the table.

It takes me a few minutes to finish my breakfast, so by the time I'm all ready for school, my bestie Megan, (or meg for short) is already at my doorstep, waiting for me. 

When I see her, I wave and run over to her with only one of my backpack straps on one of my shoulders. I greet her and we start walking. 

"MEG!" I yell with a laugh "stop writing 'dick' on every car!"

"But I can't help itttt!" Meg laughs while writing dick with her fingers on the car windshield.

We continue walking until we reach the bus stop to get to out high school.I fumble with the bottom of my shirt as we wait for the bus.

When the bus pulls up to the bus stop, wind whooshes around me, making me fall right into Meg.

My face flushes and I back away quickly. "Sorry...!" I stutter.

"No prob!" Meg laughs, it seems like she's teasing me.

We board the bus and are on our way to school
