Jack rushed down the many games and prize counters. Not even taking a chance to look back; he new that if he did, he would of regretted the choice instantly. But in the end... There was no-where to run... No where to hide. He was crouched between to arcade machines and a wall behind him. He was forced to look back. To see the horror that was following him this entire time.
Monday-
It was dark. Jack just woke up from a nightmare, the same one he's been having for months that he just can't seem to shake out of his head. It all started the same: Jack was running down a corridor that had endless rooms, endless objects to hit an end. Not just the same setting though, he was also getting chased by... SOMETHING! The same thing every night. He squinted, just barely looking at his desk next to him to turn on the light; he checked his red flashing alarm clock to see that it was 2:00AM. I can't do this anymore! it's the same nightmare over and over and over again! Jack thought as he bounced off his bed.
He grabbed his flashlight and started creeping downstairs to get something to eat. He grabbed an apple and milk and started to walk up stairs until he noticed something... A... Man? Looking through his window. He immediately shined his flashlight to his surprise to find it was just a tree with small with branches just barely falling off. He turned his flashlight off and went back up to bed, finishing his apple and milk. It was morning, the sun was out, the people were outside and everyone was doing their morning routine. Jack walked over to his letter box, slowly pulling out a strange envelope with something next to it. He opened the letter without hesitation, reading out loud:
"Hey Jack,
I know it's been a while but I wondered if you could take a visit. I have something to show you. You remember where I live don't you? Hopefully.
Anyways, this is a type of a serious matter so get over here when ever you can.
-Dad"
Jack was questioning at first but then brushed it off as if he went over to his dad's house, he might find the answer to what this letters about. Jacks's dad was John Heldrew. John was kind of a rich man due to the investments and companies he made. His greatest achievement was buying Helta-Park, a theme park for all families alike, bringing people happiness where-ever in the park. It was almost bankrupt and about to go out of business untill he bought it due to all the fond memories he had there as a child. Helta-Park isn't open anymore. The only way to get inside is to use a special key for the big, grand gate at the entrance or to climb over the twelve-meter fence. Jack took the weird, small package beside the letter and opened it up. IT WAS A KEY! Jack knew this had to be the key for Helta-Park as it had a large HP engraved into the side of it.
Jack grabbed the key and a few things like food into his car. He started it up and drove to his dad's house, not knowing what to expect...
