There was another murder, a sixteen-year-old girl, her name is Alyson Murphy.
I turned off the TV, there have been a lot of killings recently. All of the victims have been young sixteen-year-old girls. I go upstairs and get ready for my day at work. Then I'm going to go and hang out with my boyfriend.
Oops, sorry I forgot to introduce myself, my name is Sophia Moore, I'm sixteen and a junior in high school. I work at the local bakery that down the street from my house, I have a boyfriend, Dillon, that I've been dating for more than seven months, I love him, we are meant to be. My friends think that he's suspicious, but I don't think so. I always ask him about what he does but he always changes the subject, I don't really care what he does just that he loves me, and he does.
"Hey did you see the news?" My friend Abigail asked me when I walk in. "Yeah, I saw it before I left," I say putting my bag down in the break room. "And.." she asks leaning on the door frame. "And, what?" I ask looking at her. "And, aren't you scared?" she asked coming over to me and grabbing my hands.
"And why would I be scared?" I ask confused, as far as I know, there should be no reason for me to be scared. "Why!? Because there is a serial killer out there going after girls that look like you". "Yes, all the girls have the same looks like blond hair, green eyes, and small, but that doesn't mean that the serial killer is going to go after me," I say to her taking my hands out of hers and walking away to the front counter.
She didn't say anything more about the topic. It was time for my shift to end and I'm sitting eating a muffin waiting for Dillon to come. When I take the last bite of my muffin Dillon walks in, "Hey," I say getting up and walking over to him. "Hey, ready to go?" He asks and I nod my head, we leave and get in his car.
"What did you do today?" I ask when we pull out of the parking lot. "Worked," he said looking straight ahead. I nodded and looked ahead at the road. I know that I shouldn't keep asking because if he doesn't want to tell me then I shouldn't force him to tell me.
We get to his house and go in. His house isn't that big, we walk into the kitchen and he gets out food that he was going to cook for us. I just sit there looking at him proud that I had such a great man as my boyfriend.
When he finished cooking we sit and eat. "How was your day?" He asks me taking a bite and finishing his food. "Good, other than the fact that Abigail was worried again. "I can understand why I'm worried if anything happened to you, I don't know what I would do," he said while grabbing both our plates and going to the sink. I get up and give him a hug from behind. "I love you" I go to walk away when he grabs my hand and pulls me in for a kiss. This kiss is more intense than all the others that we've had. He picks me up and puts me on the counter, and tugs at the bottom of my shirt. We break the kiss only to take our clothes off so then we're only in our underwear. He kisses me again and picks me back up, and I wrap my legs around his waist. He brings me upstairs.
I wake up to the sun shining in my face, I open my eyes and sit up I look over and see my boyfriend sound asleep next to me. I smile while I remember what had happened last night. I walk into the bathroom and take a shower. I feel hands wrap around my hips I turn around and smile.
We go downstairs and eat breakfast, then we sit down and watch a movie. I wake up when I hear the doorbell. "Hey, where were you, you have a job to do." I hear a man say to Dillon. "What are you doing here, I told you not to show up at my house," Dillon says in a tone that I have never heard before. "Well, if you would come into work then I wouldn't have to show up here. We have to hurry or more girls will die. Do you want that?"The man says to my boyfriend.
"What are they talking about?" I ask myself. "I don't but he's getting closer and I have more important things to do." Dillon says, "like what?" The man says to him, "let's not talk in here," Dillon says and starts walking into the kitchen the man behind him.
I stay on the couch waiting for them to come back but they never do, I decide to get up and go and check on them.
