“Stop making this harder than it already is… kitten,” he said, taking a long puff off of an Italian cigarette, waving off his henchmen. She took a long, ragged, painful breath. Three of her ribs are broken, and she painfully knows.
“You have to be kidding me,” she said between gritted teeth. She was an unusual captive. Compliant, quiet, and aware. Her behavior sparked the curiosity of her captors. Well, all except one. Out from the dark shadows came that same voice. One stern, knowing and equally annoyed in a polite British accent.
“I want you to tell me something pet…” he said after another long puff on his cigarette.
“You do realize that I'm smart enough to not give you any of my personal, or professional info, right?” she was calm, cool, and collected. Her feathers weren’t ruffled. Several men had doubted that she would be ruffled during this little... discussion.
“Of course, darling. I am fully aware that He taught you to know better. Everyone else present wasn't the least bit surprised by his knowledge.
“Shit,” she thought to herself, “He's not supposed to know who I am… This was definitely not supposed to happen…”
She had to calculate her next steps carefully and figure her next move. “Maybe you know who I am, maybe you don't. That's not what matters right now… what matters is what you want. What's your angle…?” she was cold and calculated, ready to bargain for her freedom. She was most certainly an odd specimen.
“Well my kitten…” he said. She could feel the smirk he was obviously sporting. “I want you to tell me about Him…” that stopped her dead in her tracks. A cold and cruel chuckle rippled throughout the room, “What my dearest little dream is to know: what happened to Him?”
She could tell he was cold. Calculating. Plotting. And evidently very very good at his job, “You know who I am, you are obviously very good at your job, you ought to know what happened to Him. Don't you think?” she shot back coldly.
“Oh, ho ho! Now now Kitten, no need to bite…
