This is the story of how a young boy's life changed forever.

His name was Nathen Edwards a 16 year old boy. He was enjoying the summer holiday while celebraiting his birthday. January fifth.

Nathen was strolling down the city centure treating himself to a preasent for his birthday despite usally trying to not spend money on non-nessesury items.

As he pased by a shop he saw in the window that in his reflection his necklace was shining. It shouldn't have been unusual as the necklace was metal and it was a sunny day yet it seemed the shine was geting brighter so bright it would be described as a glow. Nathen didn't want to draw attention so he ran down an alleyway.

As he ran deeper into the alleyway the glow intencified and intencified pulsing in rhythm with his racing heart. He cluched his necklace felt it's old silver texturer. It allways gave a comforting presence - the only thing that connected him to his parents. He thought "Why is this happining to me all I've ever wanted was to have a proper education get a good job and live in France with my wife".

Suddenly, feeling a warmth spread from the pendant through his fingers, up his arm, and into his chest. A surge of energy coursed through him, unlike anything he had ever experienced. His senses sharpened, and he felt an overwhelming connection to the world around him. All he could see was a flash and it felt as if he was falling ; when he opened his eyes Nathen saw the Eiffel Tower beside him although it wasn't the base but the top of the Eifel Tower.

He was overwelmed "I...Is this Paris no more importently how did I get here. Am I going to turn into a pudle on the ground." he thought, " Fuck! FUCK! Why is this happining to me! Why is this happining to me! I just moved here after winning that stupid contest. I mean full-paid expense to one of the highest praised private schools. I thought it would be an amazing opertunity for me. A clean slate but now I'm going to be a smuge on the ground. Please whoever or whatever sent me here please send me back. I want to go back."

Once again all Nathen saw was a flash and once again he was in the alleyway laying on some trash bags. His necklace wasn't glowing anymore infact his necklayce wasn't there at all. He was confused.

"W..what just happened. I mean that did just happen right? I am laying down on trash bags and even though I don't remmember falling asleep it's not like that would ever happen in real life. Even so my necklace is gone and unless I got robbed while sleeping... WAIT! Did I get robbed? No..No please say it's not true." he thought, patting down his pockets and his bag, "ahh. Thank goodness I didn't get robbed. Still, dosen't that mean that really happend because why would someone rob me and only take my necklace. The only value it has is sentamental and that value only aplies to me. Ugh this urts my brain for now I probaly should get ou of here. I'll think more about this in my apartment."

"All right the first time entering my new apartment and all I can think about is whatever happened there." Nathen mummbled, to himself as he entered his apartment, " Wow I know I got this place for free and I didn't expect it to be a palace or anything ,but this place is a real dump."

As Nathen switched on the dim, flickering overhead light, the room came into view. The peeling wallpaper clung desperately to the walls in some places, while in others it had given up entirely, revealing the cracked and stained plaster beneath. Dust motes floated lazily in the stale air, disturbed by his movement.

The carpet, once perhaps a cheerful shade of green, was now a mottled brown, worn thin in places and stained with unidentifiable splotches. A musty smell lingered, mixing with the faint scent of mildew. The windows were grimy, allowing only a murky light to filter through, and Nathen could see cobwebs in the corners, home to long-forgotten spiders.

He glanced towards the kitchen, its linoleum floor scuffed and scratched, with ancient appliances that looked like they hadn't been functional in a decade. The sink was cluttered with rusty old utensils and a stack of chipped plates that seemed to have been abandoned mid-wash.

Nathen sighed, setting down his bag on the lone piece of furniture—a sagging couch with springs poking through the fabric. “Looks like I’ve got my work cut out for me and my wallet,” he muttered, already feeling the weight of the task ahead, "but first I have to figure out what happened. I thought about it while I was walking here and it seemed I developed superpowers just like my idol Wombat-Man. Though it doesn't seem like I have the same superpower. Might as well try. Oh mighty merchant of the sky bless me with MONEY... Ahh.. Ahh... Nothing... Shoot well l should think what happened when I activated my superpowers earlier. Maybe it like a wish system it did activate when I thought about my desire to go to paris then it activated again when I wanted to go back so lets try it. I wish for £50 pounds no $50 austrailian dollers.. Ahh again nothing. Ok, lets think about this more deeply what do the two times I use my superpower have in common. Come on Nathen.. think.. think what is your superpower.. teleportation. Yes that has to be it teleportation is my power."

Nathen was overjoyed at the realization of his powers but also overwhelmed by the unknowns. A thought that he was not the only oly one to acquire super-natural powers lingered in his nind.

 ***

The next morning, he decided to start looking for clues about his necklace and his newfound abilities. With no family history to guide him, Nathen knew he had to figure this out on his own.

Determined not to give up, Nathen decided to test his limits. He focused hard on a spot across the room, concentrating with all his might. A faint glow enveloped him, but he only managed to move a few inches.

“What’s happening?” he muttered. His powers were becoming weaker and more inconsistent. It was as if the energy source was drying up.

Realizing he needed more information, Nathen turned to the internet and local library, searching for any mentions of similar phenomena. He stumbled upon a few forums and articles discussing latent abilities and ancient energies, but none provided concrete answers.

Days turned into weeks as Nathen trained tirelessly. He practiced meditation and focused on his lower abdomen, as some of the articles had suggested. Slowly but surely, Nathen started to feel the familiar warmth and energy within him, even without the necklace.

One evening, while meditating in his apartment, Nathen experienced a sudden surge of energy. It was as if his determination had unlocked something within him. His powers flared to life, stronger and more controlled than before. He realized that the necklace had only been a catalyst, a tool to unlock his potential. Now, he had learned to harness his abilities from within.

Nathen continued to refine his abilities, using the techniques he had pieced together from various sources. He practiced teleporting short distances, gradually increasing the range as he gained confidence. Although his powers were not as potent as when he had the necklace, he was learning to control them with greater precision.

With a renewed sense of purpose, Nathen decided to use his abilities as he had always envisioned. He had seen too much suffering and injustice in the city, and now he had the power to do something about it.

As darkness fell over the city, Nathen donned a makeshift mask and hood to conceal his identity. He knew the alleys and shadowy corners where criminals lurked, preying on the vulnerable. Tonight, he would be their reckoning.

Nathen's first target was a gang that he had noticed terrorizing the neighborhood. He teleported silently onto a rooftop overlooking their hideout, his senses heightened, and his mind focused. As the gang members gathered, Nathen made his move.

He teleported into the midst of the gang, delivering swift strikes to disarm them. But these gang members were tougher than he anticipated. One of them managed to land a heavy punch, sending Nathen staggering backward. His teleportation had taken a toll on his energy, leaving him momentarily vulnerable.

The gang quickly regrouped, surrounding Nathen. He had to think fast. With a deep breath, he focused his energy and teleported behind one of his attackers, landing a precise kick. But the others were already on him, and he struggled to fend them off.

As the fight intensified, Nathen realized he couldn't rely solely on his teleportation. He needed to be strategic. He used his surroundings to his advantage, ducking behind crates, using the darkness to conceal his movementsand gravity to add extra force to his attascks. He teleported in short bursts, keeping the gang members off balance.

Despite the odds, Nathen's determination fueled him. He remembered the suffering he had witnessed in his hometown and knew he couldn't let these criminals continue their reign of terror. Summoning his last reserves of strength, he teleported to the highest vantage point in the alley and took a deep breath.

With a surge of adrenaline, Nathen launched himself back into the fray. He used his teleportation to disarm the gang members one by one, using their own weapons against them. The fight was brutal, and Nathen took countless severe hits, but he refused to give up.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the last gang member fell to the ground, incapacitated. Nathen stood amidst the wreckage, panting heavily, his body aching from the ordeal. He had barely won, and it had been a hard-fought battle.

Nathen knew that each fight would be a challenge, but he was prepared to face whatever came his way. As he stood in the alley, the shadows closing in around him, he vowed to continue his crusade against injustice, no matter the cost.
