Your art is very pretty, especially the way you draw the trees and food imo. The trees feel very all encompassing and comfy almost, especially in the first panel, and the food looks delicious.
I will say tho, the two panels after the food feel like something is missing. The angle is pretty harsh, so I can’t tell if I’m looking at running or crawling. If that was the intention, which, now that I think about it, makes sense for a not quite human character who seems very injured, but even then, the angles feel off in my brain trying to understand where things are.
Please don’t see this as like, “oh my gosh trash artist” because that is very much not the case. I’m hoping this comes off more as constructive criticism because this is coming from someone who thinks your art is good, but also recognizes that you’re probably closer to a beginner when it comes to intense action panels with strong angles. I think it’s great to try and push your skills, so keep up the good work and I hope you improve greatly over the course of making this
Home is Where the Waffles are is a dark high fantasy comic about a wizarding school drop out trying to take an imp girl back to her home. Where they will have to take comfort in what they can as they face a world that tries to kill them for a variety of reasons.
(Warning this story is on the lighter side of dark fantasy in general and the first chapter it’s nearly clean of all evil, but I wouldn’t mistake it for a slice of life fantasy story. All Phantasticus stories deal with dark often violent subject matter including this one though again this is on the lighter side and doesn’t dig in too deep.)
