The ground is rushing under me. Wind is whistling in my ears, but i must go on. My paws pounding the ground. Though I am running, my ears are pricked to every sound other then me tramping through the leafs. The canopy above, denying me of my moon rushes past. I must go on.
The seconds blur into days. Days go into years. Years are now centuries, but still I must go on. The trees start spreading, my moon starts shining rays in the breaks of the canopy.
"I must be close" My thoughts hummed excitedly.
I ran harder, trying to reach my goal. Through the breaks in the trees I saw it. The tall temple, the only home I have truly had. Ruined. The beautiful marble, chipped and gray lay all over. Even though my heart aches at this sight, I run. Pushing my body harder to reach the temple.
The front was looming over me now. Windows which used to coat the top of the temple with their beautiful colors now stood broken, forgotten of their existece. The large dark oak doors with their extraordinary gold swirls still stood proud and tall looming over me. But when I approached them they swung slowly open. Forcing me to slow my pace, but not my excitement.
I walked in soaking in the interiors. Everything was destroyed, rotten or over grown with weeds. But this is not what i had been searching for. I quickened my pace to a jog, passing room by room. Then i saw him, the glint of the red eyes. I know he could sense me but not a muscle moved when i entered. His tall and youthful body slouched over staring at my moon. I slowly but proudly walked to his side, his black hair still neat even though what just happend. I had reached him, finally his eyes reached mine, I sat and turned my head out to my moon.
"Issac," I turned and looked at him, "I think you should wake up now".
