A saintess bearing an illegitimate child had not been anticipated by anyone. The saint in question dedicated her life to serving God, the church, and the royal family. Nobody is even aware of the father's identity. She had ceased receiving answers to her prayers from God after giving birth, and people had been inexplicably dying. The youngster was regarded by the kingdom as a demon. Who can they blame but the saintess herself for the demon cursing the land? She has an unmarried child—how dare she? She quickly attained the status of a fallen saintess and was eventually given the death penalty. The incident has passed, but nobody is aware of the child's whereabouts. So long as the kingdom is thriving again.
The child made their debut years later. Naturally, who would even accept a child who resembles a demon? A youngster who brought about the pitiful demise of the saintess? The youngster was a burden and a disgrace to the realm just by virtue of her existence. She was thought of as a villain—a lady who just thinks about herself. A woman so full of scorn and hatred.
That child soon experienced the saintess's tragedy. Unlucky, child. She was raised without a father or mother. She endured a life of contempt and animosity. Both her lover and the person she thought of as a friend deceived her. The villain was slain by the hero and heroine. Knowing that they had banished the embarrassment was a good conclusion for the kingdom.

'That was the initial plot of the story. So, why am I the kid!?'
Alice was unaware of the specific events. She just recalls being struck by a truck, and the next thing she knows, a stunning woman is staring down at her when she wakes up. She was perplexed; she had no idea what was going on, naturally. She attempted to speak, but naturally, all she produced were some silly noises!
The mom gave the infant a soft smile before picking her up. "Evangeline, my darling, was your snooze enjoyable?" Gently, the mother addressed the infant she was holding. 'Evangeline? That name seems familiar,' Alice thought to herself. Her vision cleared from its fuzz, allowing her to get a clear view of the woman with bright blue eyes that reminded her of the lake encased in ice and white hair that looked like winter snow.
'That woman.' Evangeline tried to recall something, but something about her appearance seemed so familiar. "Your mother apologizes for the predicament we find ourselves in. You will be safe with me, my love. I will keep them from hurting you. I should be the first person they kill if they wish to kill anyone. Evangeline's eyes widened at the woman's words, "I should be blamed because I am the fallen saintess."
"Tell me not to," Evangeline refused to accept. How is she able to do this? She is the offspring of the deposed saintess and ultimately doomed to be betrayed and perish!? She transmigrated into her friend's most beloved book!? The mother and the child were the only people in the novel whom Evengaline felt sorry for, so she was not very fond of it. 'I will ultimately perish without ever having known my own father!'
'I am not even a teenager or a young adult! As a newborn, I am still unable to make words! How am I meant to accomplish anything?' Evangeline finds the whole thing annoying. Concerning the future, she worries about how she will be able to save her mother. Her father—what about him? Even at her execution in front of the whole kingdom, Evangeline had never met him. 'Right now, I can not get too worked up over the circumstances! I just have to come up with a strategy for what will happen in the future to save my mom.' Evangeline's sole intention was, 'Do not worry, mom. I will stop them from killing you.'
