I always wondered what it would be like to fall from the sky.

There were plenty of things I was afraid of—fire,  spiders, my mother—but there were some things that I figured might be scary in the moment, even if they were things I’d never actually do. I wasn’t planning on skydiving any time soon, so falling from the sky was just something on that list. Something I would never do, and only think about if I had that weird nightmare where my pool turned into the moon and then I plummeted down from space and to the ground.

So, I would be fine.

…Is something I would have said, if I hadn’t just been blasted through the air by the evil witch lady trying to kill me and my friends.
