“Where am I?”
A voice spoke out from hundreds of mumbling men and women, disorientated and ringing ears. clouding one's own thoughts. The voice we hear is a young man named Kane Bishop.
“It…it Feels like grass?” Kane said while lifting his body slightly from the ground. Having blurred vision. He tries to make sense of his surroundings. He takes his time for his eyes to adjust before looking around. He can make out Hundreds of figures that he could only assume were people. After a few short moments his sight started to become clearer.
People all around him looked equally confused as he was. Surrounded by a ring of trees for as far as you can see.
“Where am I? Who did this? Was it you!?” These were the repeated questioning of words that are being yelled from all around.
People were scared, angry, confused. Having no understanding of where they are.
“Last thing I remember I was walking to the store to buy groceries” A young lady said out loud in the crowd.
“I was about to watch the game. I swear! I…I had only just sat down!” another man had said.
Kane started to recapture the last memory he had. The last thing Kane believes he remembered. He was playing a video game with his friend’s. Whilst in the middle of his gaming session he just suddenly appeared here.
“Hey”
a voice is heard yelling out to him. Kane turns to the sound of the voice. A tall man who looks roughly the same age as him. ”You know what's going on?”
Kane shook his head slowly, still unsure of what was happening.
“Yeah figured as much, worth a shot” the young man introduced himself “My name is Jake what about yours?” He points his hand awfully close to Kane's face. After a moment of hesitation Kane answered.
Kane looked at the ground one last time before getting to his feet “I wonder what’s going on” Said Kane continuing to look around at all the confused people. Jake walked closer to Kane
All of a sudden a voice calls out inside the minds of the people
“Humans, hello . You have all been selected for our galactic battle royal” the voice said. Everyone froze in fear. Since they had all arrived it was the first time there was total silence from the mouths of the people. “You are all on a habitable planet that we created for our amusement and experiments. Though you may see wild animals. There will also be many other species on this planet from other worlds. You have all been brought here for our own entertainment. The rules are simple: be the last species alive and we will grant you anything within our own power. Good Luck!” After a few moments of silence realising the voice had gone. Screams and yelling had begun, people crying and yelling about how they want to go home, others in complete disbelief but the roar of the people were getting louder and louder.
“HEYYYY!!” Kane yelled in reflex. His voice echoing over everyone else *Crap that was to loud*
Some of the people paused and looked at him. Kane reacted with a single thought in mind, “He said that there are other species on this planet. That means with everyone being so loud we are giving our position away” Kane breathing heavily, part in fear of being found by the other species and part with everyone looking at him. To him it was the same as some of the games he played. Everytime he and his friends goofed around and made loud noises they would get picked off in the game. So with all that is happening an emotional response took over Kane and he acted on impulse.
A man in the crowd spoke “His right. Right now our goal is to figure out how to survive before we worry about anything else! '' The man who spoke was muscular build, camo trousers, green vest and a necklace with dog tags. A soldier from appearances it seems
“First thing first. We find a more secure location to build a shelter for the night and then go out looking for a water source.” The military man ordered.
Kane felt a bit relieved that the man took the attention away from him. Everyone was still frozen in fear, just staring at the military man. Noticing this he barked, “Let’s move it!!” Everyone jumped in shock from the bark and started to grab their bearings heading deeper into the forest, almost as if the power of individual thought had left everyone and were more relieved to follow a order then to figure things out on their own
a group of humans somewhere between five hundred and a thousand humans moving almost single file. Rarely do we see this many humans acting so organised back on Earth.
The military man is leading the group, while everyone looks around tensely for any sign of movement.
“ARGH!!!” A man fell on the floor. “Wha…what was that”
