Eyes are the reflections of one soul. Stare into it, and it speaks thousands of words in an instant... if only Alex's caretakers would do such things as simple as look him into the eyes, and maybe would they see who they were...
Glass shattering down next to him, making himself flinch next to the corner of the room. "Mom! Dad! Alex threw your vase!" Looking up towards his cousin, who wore a terrible scowl on his face, pointing directly at him, almost touching his nose as Alex's face morphed in disdain at his cousin's normal scandals towards him.
"Alex! That was my favorite vase!" It was like this every day... ever since his parents died, and he moved into his uncle's house, it turned out like this... "Ungrateful." He was grateful in the beginning... but when he had to deal with his aunt and his cousin's shenanigans, they all seemed to have resented him... his eyesight focused on the ground as the mental abuse echoed all around him... feeling his aunt grab a hold of his ear, and touched the earring before ripping it off. That brought him back to reality as he grabbed her hand and yanked it away from her.
"Don't touch this!" The shock that spread over her face before she glared daggers, opening her mouth, the venom that escaped it shocked through his body... "Get Out, DON'T come back!" His eyes fell down before his mind reminded himself... "Planned on it." The smile that spread across his face made his aunt scowl even harder, walking to his room, he grabbed the suitcase and stared into it... SHE had planned on leaving anyway... going to her boyfriend in Japan.
You see, Alex was a trans woman, and wanted to keep her name but change her full name to Alexandria, never did she hate her name it was what her parents gave her after all, and the only thing she can keep of them to treasure. Her boyfriend in Japan knew and heard of all of her heartaches and wishes to go be with him, and he agreed whenever she wanted... The earring her aunt ripped out was sent by him... though she never sent pictures as she could never truly be herself and sending pictures of how she looked seemed... wrong. Though these things wouldn't be so simple...
She brought out her phone as she went out the door, not even giving her aunt a glance or a goodbye... it seemed like she wanted this as much as Alex... "Never again." She muttered to herself as she walked out towards the road and got a taxi... her destination? The airport.
...
The flight was long, but Alex was kept company by the texts from her boyfriend just before she took off "I can't wait to see you!!" Smiling blissfully to herself, she looked out the window and saw the runway racing towards her... Getting off the plane was somewhat liberating, she was tired, however the excitement of being in a completely different country, especially one so exciting as Japan! Going through the tunnel boarding off the plan, she breathed in the air and it felt so fresh. The soles of her feet bounced in excitement... "Excited?" A woman behind her spoke, as Alex quickly turned and nodded her head happily. "Yes!" The woman giggled at Alex's nature.
Turning back towards the exit, Alex looked around at the place she would be looking for her name... "Ema... Aoi... Alexandria... Minato- AH! My name!" Looking back to the face of who was holding the sign, it was a fairly handsome man, and she couldn't help but feel a flutter... she never got to see her boyfriend... it had been four months of talking, and six months since knowing him... and he was such a charmer and so nice to her for being trans... it felt like... she was seen...
Running towards him, the man turned with a confused stare before Alex shouted out and hugged the man. "KAZU!!!" The reaction... wasn't expected... Alex felt the ground as she looked up in confusion. "K-Kazuto?" Alex asked, wondering if she had run into someone else's sign... "Y-Your Al-Alex? Y-You said you were tr-trans??" Alexandria's face formed into a confused one. "I am Alex. W-What do you mean Kazuto?" Her Japanese fumbled a little bit before she started speaking English. "N-No th-this is w-wrong... you're not a Woman! Liar!!" Kazu's word pierced through her heart he turned around and started running, everyone around her stared at her...
Alex's hair wasn't long... her chest wasn't large... she wasn't wearing makeup... "Liar!" It took a second before Alex realized she was left on the floor with Kazu running away, her eyes lingered on in distress before she tried to get up but the large mass of people around her made the feeling drowning... She took out her phone... clicking through her contacts she tried to message Kazu to explain how it all worked... before she realized that she had been blocked... with nothing... her plan to escape her family... had resulted in her situation...
Shaking, she looked at her phone, a balance appearing in front of her... she had enough to transfer into Japanese yen, which was good... But the amount won't equate too much... maybe a few nights at a hotel... Alex got desperate as she went into her group chats and asked if anyone had lived in Japan... No such luck, though she had gotten someone who had been to Japan a few times... saying there was a good hotel that was the cheapest and nicest they could find during their trip...
...
After a few minutes of walking out of the airport, Alex fell to the side of a building... her head hitting the back of the wall, and she slid down in an alley... "What am I going to do now... Kazu... why did you have to be like this... Like everyone, you said you wouldn't..." She really didn't expect that in 48 hours... she would lose everything... her head fell into her hands as the blond locks hid the tears streaming down her face.
