I fell back asleep for another hour.

When I woke again, I remembered it was a school day. I was royally screwed. Guess I'll have to drive. I drove to school and hung out with Zyneb till the first period bell rang. The day went like normal and I was fine. 

When driving home, the craziest, possibly dumbest idea popped up in my head: How bout I just build a freaking time machine? I mean, it is possible now. Plus, I'll never have to be late for school again! Huh. Maybe not that bad of an idea.

This is perfect. Every day after school, I can do whatever homework I have, then work on my time machine! A brilliant plan and a brilliant schedule, I must say. I started talking about it to my best friend Zyneb, but when even he got tired of hearing about it, I tried toning it down. When your pal since middle school is fed up with your stuff, you know you've been bringing it up too much.

Sooner than I expected, the time machine was complete. That's called "dedication." My first instinct of course was to invite Zyneb over to show him. His reaction was... saying there's something wrong with me. To be brutally honest, this is partially true.

 I tested it out first. Thankfully, it worked.

So, we both hopped in and prepared for the long road ahead...
