"Welp, here it is, the infamous public school Kanja High," the boy said as he stood with a bored expression.

"Yo!" a male voice suddenly shouts out from behind the boy. He turns around to see a male student walking towards him.

"Oh, um, can I help you?" the boy asked.

"What? No, I just come by to say hello. It's your first day at school?" he asked while smiling.

"Oh yes, yes it is," the boy replied.

"Oh, great! Names Sung Kyung-Min, nice you meet you!" Kyung-Min said while smiling brightly.

"All right, all right, let's get going to school, and yeah, my name is Hak Kun, but you can call me Haku for short," said Haku.

"Okay," said Kyung-Min.

Haku is a sophomore who loses motivation in many things, which causes him to have a gray and negative view of life. He is filled with boredom.

In the past, he had a strong desire to help those in vain, but as he grows, that desire starts to fade away quickly, for one reason, modern technologies. Haku is someone who enjoys being on his laptop, video games, reading manhwas, and draw some digital arts with his best efforts hoping to attract as much attention so he could know what they feel about it.

But, these actions of his always make him have more hardships standing in his way. His addiction to devices causes him to come home with bad scores on his exams. His familiars had even to acknowledge that he has several self-destructive natures that'll ruin his life. But he doesn't care. He does whatever he wants and ignores everyone's advice.

After being held back a year in school, his parents transferred him to a public school mainly known as Kanja High to avoid embarrassment. Which, for some unstated reasons, the school did not hold him back a year. Instead, they let him move to Grade 11th despite his previous test results. Haku never knows, but he doesn't even want to know why.

"Hello, everybody!!!" Kyung-Min yelled right in front.

Everybody stares at him and Haku entering the room. They see the teacher standing there with an expressionless face.

"Oh, you must be the new transfer student. Well, come on in and introduce yourself," the teacher said.

"Yes, my name is Kyung-Min, and I am one of the new transfer students. Nice to meet you all!!!" Kyung-Min said while smiling.

Haku looks at him for a while before turning to the whole classroom and takes his turn to introduce himself.

"Yeah, hello there, my name Hak Kun, but you can call me Haku for short. Nice to meet you all," said Haku.

"All right, now, you two go and sit next to each other," said the teacher.

The two all walked to their seats, and the lesson begins.

After school.

"Yes, that'll be 5.99 Won, sir," said Haku.

"Here you go," the man said.

"Thank you," Haku replied.

"So, how was school?" a girl asked while sitting right at the corner of the register.

"Oh, it's normal, that's all. What about you, Yom Li-Na?" Haku asks back.

"Well, it's also normal. I made a few friends," said Li-Na.

"Oh, okay," said Haku.

The door suddenly opens, and a familiar walks in. Haku looks up and saw Kyung-Min visiting him.

"Oh! What a coincidence, Haku. I didn't know you worked here," said Kyung-Min.

"Oh hey, what are you doing here?" Haku asked.

"Well, just came by to some stuff, and we should probably head back to the school, since, well, I forgot my stuff inside of my locker, and I need it because it's important," said Kyung-Min.

"Nope, sorry, but I ain't breaking into the school during midnight," said Haku.

"AW COME ON MAN, YOU GOTTA HELP ME, PLEASE!?" Kyung-Min yelled right at Haku.

Haku stares at Kyung-Min's pleading face. He sighs.

"Ugh, fine, I'll go with you, just wait for me a sec alright?" Haku asked.

"OKAY!" Kyung-Min shouted.
