…In 2 months, I’ll be a Senior. It's my last year in my Highschool. Eastmore Lake High School; Home of the Bobcats. I know I will cherish every moment, yes, even the bad ones. I just know it. It will all be worth it when I graduate. Just a few more months, I'll walk up the stage, in my red cap and gown, all eyes on me blinded by my charms as my name gets called, walking 5 more steps wearing my newest pair of my expensive heels, to get my diploma, finally! My name shall be called – Celeste Goodm-
“Mrs. Goodman!”
Mr. H comes over impatiently and loudly repeatedly taps his pen onto my hard cold desk. “The year is not over yet, so wake up and answer my question and tell me how I should solve this linear question.” He points his marker to the board. My facial expression stays blank.
Shit... That stupid little annoying voice says in my head.
I'm half squinting at this point. Half of the class is buried in their phones, but some are looking at me. I slowly turned my head to my friend who Ive met since kindergarten, my day 1. Sophie West. She is sitting right next to me...not helping me.
“Ooh girl, look what he texted me,”
Ugh. Her boyfriend. I swear she makes him her whole personality.
I slowly cautiously turn my head the other direction to my other friend, Lexie Marks, making that face. She looks at me; I look at her. I try to contain my nervous chuckle as the teacher was not having it, I could tell by how he furrows his eyebrows at me. I promise I'm a good student. I just like to give him a hard time. I know he favors me back. I’m everyone’s favorite.
“No, you're not”, my little sister Luna disagrees.
