<ARIN'S P.O.V>

Arin was walking home from his last day of 7th grade. His friend Elic as walking next to him. As they split up to go to there houses Arin felt a chill run down his back. When he turned around though, nobody was there.

As he rounded a corner he felt large hands grab him he didn't have the time to call for help before everything went dark.

<ELIC'S P.O.V>

Elic walked to Arin's house like always it was the first day of summer and he was planning to spend it all with Arin. Elic saw a police car parked on the side of the road and frowned, he rang the doorbell of Arin's house. Arin's mother, Maya answered the door her eyes were red like she had been crying. "Were's Arin, I was wondering if we could hang out?" at this Maya's eyes welled up with tears. "Arin's- Arin's gone. He didn't come home yesterday and we can't find him anywhere."

Elic stared at her for a moment then started running. He ran everywhere he could think that Arin would go. He ran to the playground that they'd play at in elementary and he ran to all of there friends' houses. Elic even ran to the abandoned treehouse that they had found in the forest in third grade but Elic couldn't find Arin anywhere.

Finally when the sun was starting to set Elic trudged back to his house and locked himself in his room to cry. After that Elic didn't come out of his room for a week and barely ate anything. Elic stopped smiling and when he wasn't in school would lock himself in his room. people started avoiding him. his mother, Lily tried to help him but nothing seemed to work. But she always was there if he ever needed her.

People started avoiding Elic and soon almost nobody talked to him unless they needed to. A year after Arin disappeared Lily had another child named Ray. Elic took care of him some times when Lily and his father, Dan were busy.
