"It's only been a week at my new job at the Bersny Textile, but they've been working me to the bone" Willam complains to Peter, while picking up his beer. Peter laughs "Well at least you're able to provide for Anna and the kids!" Willam sighs, "I guess it's just the fact that the job keeps me away for long hours, so it's hard to spend time with them since I always come home tired." Peter raises his eyebrow, "Then why don't you stop coming to Ralph's Bar after work with me?" Willam Chugs his beer then slams the glass on the table, he sighs and begins to mumble "Anna doesn't like it when I drink." Peter pats Willams back, "Well Anna is the only person I know to complain about alcohol being bad." Willam looks down at his watch, "Darn it's, eleven forty-five if I dont get home now she's totally going to nag me all night!" Peter lets out a heavy sigh and dramatically leans over towards Willam, "We barely had any time to drink, it's not fair this job of yours takes time away from us!" Willam pushes Peter back, he stands up slams five dollars on the table, "I'll see you tomorrow, you pain." Peter smiles and waves at WIlliam as he walks out of Ralph's Bar.

Willam walked down the street at dead of night, most people were either at home or at the bars complaining about their wives and jobs, so it was pretty quiet. The only noise there was the sound of trains rattling on the tracks, Willam made his way to the train station, he walked up to the ticket clerks booth, but nobody was there. He scratched his head, he looked around the station but it was completely empty. He had heard the trains moving but he didn't see any movement. The only station that seemed available was train thirty-eight. He didn't know if it was the alcohol talking, but he felt compelled to get on. It felt as if the train was hypnotizing, his mind went blank all he could think about was getting on the train. The train doors opened, He felt a heavy pressure on his head, he began to feel dizzy. Willam closed his eyes for a moment, had thought he drank too much? He didn't know, but his body started to feel sluggish, he couldn't keep up, he began to fall over and blacked out.

He woke up to the sound of a moving train, he found himself sitting in a seat. The daze and pain he felt was gone, He looked out the window, all he saw was darkness. He assumed he was in a tunnel, He got up looking around the rail cart he was in. The cart smelled like a new car, the carpet was bright red, the seats were bright green, the walls were beige, there were lights on in the cart, he found that weird. All the trains He has ever been in he never seen one like this, he got up, he looked up at the door above it in carved wood it said " Train thirty-eight head towards...." He squinted trying to read the rest but it was scratched out. He found it weird how he was the only one in this cart, he walked towards the door looking through it, it was a copy of the cart he was in already. He opened the door and walked through, he looked around to find nobody. He was very confused, but he decided to keep going until he found somebody. While walking through the carts he began to think about how he ended up here, the last thing he remembers is blacking out at the station. He mindlessly walked through the carts until he came upon the twelfth cart, he began to open the door, but stopped midway. He felt like he was being watched, the lights in his cart started to flicker, He turned around to see a shadowy figure with long slender arms that dragged on the floor, the thing swayed back and forth, its legs were short, skinny and stubby. Its head moved like a snake slither towards its prey. Willam felt this heavy pressure on his body, He stood in place until the beast opened its mouth wide, sharp fangs appeared as He heard the thing cackling in a deep husky voice. He started to sweat, shook his head snapping out his position, He slammed the door as he began to run through the train carts. He heard heavy rapid steps coming closer. He slammed open another train cart door, he turned his head to the beast, it was approaching quickly. The long arms flung out grabbing at his ankles, the beast sunk its claws into his right ankle. He screamed out in pain, he shook his left leg getting out of the beast grip and started kicking the beast arm on his right ankle. The beast pulled on the wound, claws going deeper into his flesh, he yelped out in pain. He grabed the humanoid hand ripping it out of his ankle, He screamed in pain. He quickly stood up putting pressure on his left, he began limping towards the next cart, looking back and noticed the beast stopped moving. It stood over his little blood pool, the beast tongue traveled its way to the pool and it started to suck up the blood. He stumbled back slamming into the next train cart door, his eyes went wide, he was terrified, yet knew he needed to move forward. He used the wall to balance, sliding the door open he began to limp his way forwards. He opened the door to the cart turned around to see if the beast had finished, but nothing was there. The lights had stopped flickering, He sat down in one of the seats. He rolled up his pants leg to reveal deep bloody punctures left by the beast claws. H  took off his tie, he cleaned up the wound, he was able to get a better view of it. He stared at wounded flesh, he noticed around the wound the skin was red and looked like it was beginning to swell. The wound felt like it was pulsating. He wrapped the bloody tie around his wound and tied it tight, he got up and began to walk forward, he wondered if he would run into that beast again.

Couple of train cars later he wasn't feeling so good, but the train was finally out of the tunnel. He looked outside the window, all he could see was water. It seemed the train was traveling on a lake maybe, he didn't care much, he felt like he was going crazy. Every step he took made him feel excruciating pain in his right ankle, his wound dripped with blood, his tie had completely been drenched in blood. He felt tired, very tired, Willam's vision began to falter, but he kept moving, limping his way. He was hoping it was all in his head, He had just wanted to see his wife and kids. He felt bad, he had known that he was never the best father or husband, but if he survived this he would change his ways. He would stop drinking, spend more time with his kids and take better care of Anna. He began to cry, he just wanted to go home to his family. He couldn't remember how many train carts he had been in, he felt like he was going crazy. He screamed out, "What do you want from me! Who are you, get me out of here, I can't take this anymore!" There was nothing but the sound of the train moving, he punched the seat in anger, he reluctantly continued moving forward.

After another round of train carts he felt horrible he had thrown up couple times already, his breathing felt labored, it felt harder to walk, it was hard just to think, he was trying to process it, he was thinking of all the people he had wronged, who could have done this to him? His boss, his co-workers, or maybe Anna had found out his secret? "Is it you Anna, did you find out I was cheating on you with Linda from work!" He began to limp forward, "I know you're here Anna, I'm sorry I didn't mean it!" He slammed the door open, "I'm begging you, get me out of here!" He couldn't take it anymore, he wanted out, he felt like he was going crazy. Next couple of train carts He passed through were different, one was empty, while two of the others were head-splitting, first one all he could hear is screaming while the other one a loud buzzing noise with eyes all over the room staring at him following his every move, he felt like they were judging him, laughing at him for the pain and suffering he's going through.

He entered the next train cart, all he could see was mouths, they were all over the walls, moving, breathing, then they began to speak in unison in a mocking singing tune, "Willam's a cheater, WIllam's a cheater, he's a repeater, he's so unfaithful its painful" they kept chanting in union over and over again, "He put his hands over his ears, "Shut up, shut up, shut up!" He walked through the room at the pace of a sloth, he was so tired, all the life out of him was gone, he couldn't do it anymore, he just wanted to die! He looked outside and the view had changed into dark forest, He opened the next door slowly. The lights were off, besides the light coming in from the mouths room it was pitch dark, He couldn't see if there was anything in the room. The mouths started to laugh, "You won't last very long here!" He slammed the door shut, he moved forward, he didn't know how long it had been, but he wanted out. While walking through the cart, he felt something pull at his leg, causing him to fall over with a big thud. He turned around, but he couldn't see what it was, he felt a force pull him towards the talking mouths door, He tried to shake off whatever had a grip on him but it didn't loosen. He knew he had no strength left in him, he was terrified and had wanted to die, but not like this! Then suddenly felt a sharp pain in his right leg, it felt as if something just chomped down and sank its teeth into his leg. He screamed, "Let go of me!" Lights pierced through the windows revealing a humanoid lizard with no legs. It ripped into his leg taking a chunk of flesh and muscle out, blood began to spray everywhere. He let out a shriek, the lizard crunched down on his leg breaking his bone in hafe the lizard swallowed then spat out the bone, He tried to fight back but he felt so weak he just couldn't move anymore, it was over for him. The lizard started to eat him alive, it started with the legs, it ripped through the flesh swallowing it then, it moved to his stomach biting into his flesh ripping out his intestines, his vision blurred, he was fading away painfully, as he slowly lost consciousness he cursed out his wife thinking she had caused this pain, then finally he had expired.
