Lucifer was sitting at his piano, playing some random tones. He was upset with the fact that Chloe and Pierce got closer to each other. Even though he would never admit that, it hit him really hard. Not only because he had feelings for her, but because he felt lonely again. Nobody paid him any attention anymore. He felt useless.

-I feel the depression coming. – he muttered an took a sip of his whiskey. As if on cue his brother Amenadiel walked in his apartment. He wasn't alone though. Amenadiel brought a teenager with him. He was wearing dirty worn-out clothes on his skinny body.

-Lucifer, we have to talk. – he said.

-What do you want? – asked Lucifer, turning his attention to Amenadiel. He widened his eyes when he saw a teenager, accompanying his brother. – Who's that?

-Y/n L/n. – said the boy looking down. – Seems like I'm your son. - Lucifer laughed.

-That's impossible, I...

-Fuck everything that resembles a human. – finished Amenadiel. – And that's where the kids come from. Remember when you went on the Earth eighteen years ago? Now you have the outcome, take the responsibility. – Amenadiel got more and more angry with every word he said.

-Where's his mother? – asked Lucifer, yelling back at his brother.

-I'm not coming back home. – Y/n glared at Lucifer and walked up to him.

He put his hand on Lucifer's forehead, and before he could react, he passed his memories to his father. Lucifer gasped when the scenes from Y/n's life played before his eyes. He saw how abused he was, how his mother and stepfathers beat him up. But the vision was far from over. Suddenly the scenes of rape started. That's when Lucifer stepped away from Y/n. He opened his eyes and felt the tears on his cheeks.

-What did they do to you...- whispered Lucifer and looked at the boy.

-I handled this for far too long. – said Y/n in raspy voice. – I'm not coming back. If you don't want me to stay here, I will live on the streets, I don't care. Nothing is worse than that the hell I went through.

-Why didn't you fight? – asked Lucifer. – You have powers.

-I don't control them. – he answered. – No one taught me to use them, I can only pass the memories to others.

-Luci please. – said Amenadiel and walked closer to his brother. – He's powerful. We should keep an eye on him. Let him stay.

Lucifer looked at the young man, who claimed to be his son. Y/n sat down at the piano and touched the keyboard. He played few each of the keys, letting the sounds sink in. He always learned quickly. After memorizing the shounds, he started playing a random tune, that soon turned into a song. At first Lucifer didn't recognize it, but after few seconds he realized it was "Every rose has it's thorn" by Poison. Lucifer chuckled at how accurate this song was to the situation they were in. Maybe it was a good idea to let him stay in his apartment and life.

-Please stay Y/n. – he said once the boy finished his little performance. – I have a spare bedroom you can take.

Lucifer opened the door to the bedroom and motioned for Y/n to walk in. The boy widened his eyes at the room that was supposed to belong to him from now on. The big bed, clean walls, and a lot of space just for him. He was so entranced by his new surroundings that he didn't notice when Lucifer opened his small suitcase.

-Tomorrow we are going shopping. My son won't be wearing rags like that. – he said and threw the clothes and the suitcase in the trash.

He gave Y/n some clean unused underwear and a shirt to sleep and told him to take a shower before going to bed. Y/n only nodded and did what he was told. After the shower he got dressed and walked straight to his new bedroom. He got in the bed and groaned at the softness of the bed. He felt a wave of uncontrolled happiness coming. He chuckled softly, trying to stiff a full blown laughter. That was a new chapter in his life, and he was ready to face it.
