From hardships, fibers spun
Intertwined with knowledge gained
From time spent under the sun
The silks’ strength maintained
Spun around and around,
For a protective cocoon to form
Suspended above the rough ground
Within, all that was is torn
The pieces, now apart
Cast away the rot
Create from the old a work of art
New life, birthed from the lot
Burst forth scaled wings glistening
One who was so squalid
Growth from changes
Emerge, new- no longer so pallid
