Something caught his eye. There, walking in the sunlight, was a woman wearing a black fitted dress that showed her shoulders - like she was going to a bar- she also had long dark burgundy hair which flashed red whenever the sun shined on it. But that was not what caught his gaze, she was staring at him with almost a digusted look on her face! Besides that, her intense aura was really cringey.
'Is that even allowed here?' he thought of her outfit. But no, there was something else, it was staring at him in the face and he couldn't point out the eerie feeling he felt.
"Move it, angel." the woman shoved him. "Isn't staring considered rude here?"
Daniel froze in shock, his mouth slightly opened. "W-why... are you...?"
"Don't, Lucy. He's a student officer here, he can get you suspended or something." A girl beside her whispered.
Lucy stared at Daniel then smirked. "Well, it doesn't feel like he'd tell on me because I bet he's super nice."
Lucy and her friend - assuming that she had friends - left Daniel in a frozen state.
'A demon.' Daniel thought. It was his first time encountering one. Demons he knew were shadows following people and spreading negativity, this one was disguised as a person. 'With an intense aura too.'
It was none of his business. After all, he was just an angel responsible for blessing people who deserved it.
It was none of his business.
None.
But.
'I should keep an eye, in case she causes trouble. Then report it to the higher ones.'
Meanwhile, Lucy was grumbling. 'Great. An angel. Disgusting auras.' She was remembering how white and pure his aura was that she almost wanted to puke.
"You okay, Lucy?" the girl beside her, she forgot the name, asked her. "You're flushed."
Lucy smirked. "HAH. Must be the sun."
'He can't do anything to me anyway. Only low level angels roam on Earth. And my father is THE devil. He wouldn't dare.'
There is, in fact, privileges when you know you have the power. After all, she is THE devil's daughter. The devil Lucifer's daughter.
