"I don't know Atrian, what if-" "SILENCE! You know very well that if this plan fails you will die, Molius." Two men faced each other. Their surroundings black, as if there was nothing around them, no wall to confine them, no floor to hold them, and no roof to cover them.
"Yes, Atrian." The younger of the two bowed their head, their hair falling into their face. "Look up brother. It's a simple mission. You should not fail it. That is why the penalty is so high. You know that I am not unfair to you." The eldest looked down upon Molius, gaze cold.
'I know, brother. But this isn't as simple as you may seem! The girl is-" "I TOLD YOU ONCE. I'LL TELL YOU NO MORE! This girl is of use to us, and if you do this correctly she will be no trouble. Understand?" lashed out, pinning Molius to an invisible wall of black.
Molius shook violently as his brothers cold eyes bored into him.
"Yes, brother."
Atrian released Molius and the younger fell to the ground. The eldest crouched and pulled Molius into a hug. It was meaningless. There was no love to anyone but himself in Atrian's heart.
Molius did not hug back. He just sat there defeated. Sighing, he closed his eyes and cried silently, waiting for the day the pain would go away.
