She's just a girl

Like others you see 

But with those cold eyes 

Ice cold as she 

No one came close  

She'd push them away 

To hide her hurt 

And to hide her pain 

Her baggy clothing 

Made her seem so small 

It hid her body 

Which was skin and bone 

Long sleeves helped too 

With hiding the scars 

Ones because of others 

And ones because of her 

Never asked for help 

Felt weak and sorry 

She was just too scared
