Prologue
I was dragged forcefully into the forest, leaving the snowing trail along the way. My body as cold as ice, my tears starting to freeze out and I gasp for more air. Desperately hearing the sound of the wolves ringing through my ears. It started sniffing all over my body, licking all the way, that I can smell a musky smell from their wet fur.
It was terrifying, I could have screamed, but I didn't. I could have fought, but I didn't. My small body start trembling, but I only can watch the gray sky above me.The wolves become restless, careless ripping my sleeves with their teeth, snagging my red hair until their paws start to push through my pulse collarbone.
My vision went blurry, suffocating, helplessly that I watched the pure snow turn into a pool of blood and the undeniable sight for 6 years old little girls. As you sow, so shall you reap, I start regretting playing in my grandmother's courtyard, just the sake to build the snowman. I already go off the deep end. Nothing I can do, my vision slowly to fade in and accompanied with unbearable pain.
In my subconscious, I could see the light at the end of the tunnel, but it seems so far away as I start to walk toward it. Then, I started seeing an indistinct figure in front of me. It conveys a very warm light that I felt very protected, safe and loved. I just wished to stay here and maybe my life is in another side. Suddenly, the figure voiced out that it wasn't my time and seal it with a caring warmth hug.
Whispering my name
"Rose Grimsbane"
In the blink of the eyes, I saw my mother crying face in front of me and grabbing my hand thanking to god. Whereas, my panic dad call out the doctor.
Now I realized that I breathed and I was back.
