My world has two types of people, there are the humans and there are the vampires. The world governments, of both races, agreed on a classification system of the two: the humans were red blood, and the vampires were black or dark blood. From what I’ve been told, this system has worked for decades; of course now-and-then racial slurs come up: “vampires are dead blood or dried husks”, “humans are pig”, “each race should be extinguished”, “humans are walking blood banks or meat bags”, that sort of thing.

To cope, the governments created Peace Between Humans and Vampires, or PBHV, organization; like PHV, Protection for Humans and Vampires, offices and the ETW, Enforcement of Two Worlds. The ETW is the basic police force of both red bloods and dark bloods, they take care of the “troublemakers” on both sides of the lines; they also enforce the laws that have kept the peace between the two races. The PHV is like councilors of the two races, they handle the other conflicts: marriage, infractions, food transportation, classifications, and stuff like that.

Everything seemed to be going smoothly in the world until one teeny tiny little hiccup occurred.

Reds: Human-kind; called red because that is the shade of their blood

Darks: Vampires; named due to their dark past/lack of hemoglobin in the blood

Mixed-Blood: A being with abilities of both races

PHV: Protection for Humans and Vampires

ETW: Enforcement of Two Worlds

PBHV: Peace Between Humans and Vampires

Academy of the Twin Moons: a boarding school for the wealthiest of the races; dusk/night school for darks and dawn/day school for the reds
