* Sssskkk… ssskk*

 "U-uhhh"

My head hurts, my whole body feels like its piercing with an agonizing pain. I tried to move but nothing  happened from my seemingly lifeless body. my mind is still hazy with a particular fogginess of being unconscious for a long time, making it difficult to make sense of the murky colors around me and get a bit of an idea of my situation.

I think I have cut my tongue as I could taste the iron of blood in my mouth and also there is some sticky fluid on my forehead making just above my eye, I must be bleeding there too and its also causing the headache.

In any case its making it difficult to see clearly, but by the smell of mud, dew and herbs I have concluded that I am in a forest.

My hands and legs seemed to be tied by a special rope full of spikes as its piercing through my flesh and bones, with every bump, leaving a trail of blood behind in its awake.

*Sssskkk…. ssskk*

Huhhh…. what's that sound?

*Sssskkk...sssskkk*

Its as if a person is dragging something or someone through bushes....

This sudden realization realization made me jolt awake, as the one being dragged was none other than me.

  After realizing this, many questions started to pop up in my head like,

What's going on? Why am I getting dragged? Where are they taking me? What do they want?

Shoving these thoughts at the back of my mind, I squirmed and tried to get a look of the person dragging me. He was wearing a cloak in the color of darkness, an eerie aura surrounding him, making a chill rundown my spine, strings of rope in his one hand through one of them he was dragging me and by the others.....!

Cold sweat started to pour through out my face, thousands of emotions washed over me at once. Sorrow, anger, helplessness and nausea,

What should I do? What can I do....

I waned to throw up

…… to save them?

 After all I wasn't the only one being dragged.

 He was pulling me along with my three still unconscious friends single handedly, his back turned to us. He must be really strong, I thought to myself. Now that I knew I wasn't the only one in the dilemma, I needed to be more tactful, calm my skyrocketing nerves, think of a plan to escape and fast.

Making a voice or confronting him head on wasn't an option as I still was unclear of his intentions. He might make me unconscious again or at worst kill me, but that might not be the case, because if he wanted to he could have done it before...

Is he kidnapping us for ransom?  That could have been the case as we were all from noble families or maybe organ trafficking, and I went on and on thinking what possibly could have been the reason behind all of this....

But little did I know his intentions were  as simple as that...
