'Come Aoi' I said to my friend nicely, because we were already late. We have a schedule when to set off from home, but we had already passed this fixed time so I was losing my patience.
He said he was going to come, so I just waited patiently. Fortunately, I didn't have to wait for a long time. He was jumping off the stairs while he was coming from the second floor. I saw his slim, but beautiful body. He was smiling like a kid, but it made him cute.
'You are still as gorgeous as before' I said then gently kissed him. After we went to the front door, we put on our coats, then left the house. I closed the door, and let Aoi go to the car first. He was like an excited kid going to an amusement park. I checked if I cussesfully closed the door, then followed my friend to the vehicle. I sat in front of the wheel while Aoi took the passenger's seat. I started the car's engine after we had tied the seat's belt.
While we were going to our destination Aoi gazed out of the window, like he was unaffected by his surroundings. I slightly touched his shoulder, and he started to blinking for some minutes. He was probably half-asleep. I chuckled a little while I thought about it. He heard my chuckling and glared at me with his big round eyes. His enthusiasm disappeared suddenly when we got closer to our destination. I got worried. I haven't seen him glare at me like this.
'Is there any problem?' I asked him because his expression was like there was something bothering him.
'Do we have to go there?' he asked while I was looking at the road. I sighed quietly.
I didn't answer as he knew already what was going to be my answer. My answer is always 'yes'.
After around half an hour we arrived in the forest, which was our destination. This was the only place where you could go to relax in the town, where we moved to. But it was the last thing which Aoi wanted to see or visit now. Anyway, we went into the gloomy forest and parked in front of a fence which door was too small to go in with a car. I stopped the engine and got out of the car. Aoi followed me as we left the car there, and continued our trip on foot. Luckily, the door was open, so we could go in. We didn't speak to each other while we were walking and following the path that we have done so many times.
Sometimes I looked at the boy next to me. He was slightly white, with beautiful blue eyes, however, he had black hair. He was like a fantasy character from a fictional book. His body was slim but quite well-built. His steps didn't leave a sound, not even he stepped on a dry stick, which broke under his feet. Just like a ghost which was floating...
I don't know why, but my tears started falling down on my face. I didn't want him to see me like this, so I immediately wiped my face and forced a smile on me.
We weren't in a rush, but this awkward silence was killing me. I wanted to speak to him, but I didn't have any topic which I could pop up and speak about together. Both of us were probably thinking about something, that's why we were in this silence. I started to get worried because Aoi is not the type to be quiet for this long, so I looked at him.
'Is everything alright?' I finally started a conversation which I hoped to last long enough.
'No.. ' Aoi mumbled under his nose 'You know I don't want to go to that place, but you stick to that cliff anyway' he said angrily.
'I.. ' I wanted to reply to him, but I couldn't. I was startled. We have been to this place so many times, but I still get goosebumps because of my thoughts.
At the end of the cliff, there was a gravestone, where I put my coat, which was on me before, and I got down on my knees. I touched the name which was on the stone, then stood up and turned to Aoi. I felt butterflies in my stomach, but I couldn't live on alone. I wanted to see him again and hug him.
'I'm ready ' I said while I tried to hold back my tears. I was trembling while I looked into his blue eyes.
'I know' said the boy, who was getting transparent, while I went to the edge of the cliff.
'I have always loved you ' these were my last words while I was falling into the deep. I saw how Aoi was falling into tiny pieces and I felt relieved again.
I hope we will meet again in Heaven.
