Why do I have legs,

Because they help me move,

They help me to run,

From the monsters chasing me,

They never stop following so I always have to run,

I can never rest,

Because there is no break from them,

But what happens when someone breaks my legs,

When they just leave me there,

With shattered legs,

What happens when they just walk off while I sit there unable to move,

While the monsters get closer,

Will anyone help me,

Is something going to save me,

Or will I stay here,

All alone with broken legs,

For the monsters to get to me
