To the one who has found this, I hope it will aid you in your journey in our new reality. In the following is my findings and experiences. Hopefully you will learns some things you didn’t know before.

Before the world fell to chaos, it was actually a pretty livable place. For starters cancer finally had a reasonable priced cure, artificial inelegance was every wear, the population was booming; A little too much if you ask me. The government came out with these spray cans that could regrow skin cells, hurts like hell though. So, life was reasonable but it wasn’t living. People were forgetting how to live and work for themselves, unless of course you were from the slum like me and my family were. We got by with what we had, that is, until they showed up. These big black oily things came into our homes at night and tore through the population in only a matter of hours. By my calculations about 60% of the population perished, my younger sister and mother among them.

A few things I’ve learned

1. They can’t exist in the light, so always avoid dark places.

2. For some odd reason they enjoy chicken.

3. If you can survive long enough to look at them closely you can notice male and female behaviors.

4. They can’t hear very well

5. They hate the smell of Mi

An ear-piercing roar like shriek interrupted Aarons writing. He put his pencil into his pocket and stuffed the note book he was writing in, into his leather hiking backpack. The sound rang again followed by a tree falling. Aaron looked up to see three long tarry fingers rap around the trunk of a redwood tree only about 50 yards from him.

He swore under his breath “shit”.
