It was 3 am on Christmas eve. The sky was grey. The wind was reckless, and it hailed. There were 30 meters of snow on the ground. You would get shivers just by looking out the window...

In the middle of the storm, there was a little house. Filled with lights, green, blue, yellow, and red. Inside there was a Christmas tree filled with decorations, and a star on top, that was shining so bright! On top of the fireplace, there were tree Christmas socks. They were filled with candy. All the lights were shut off, so the only lights you could see came from the tree and other decorations, and on the window still.

The kitchen was filled with meat, soda, beer, and candy. In the basement, there was a Santa costume, and a bag filled with presents. The dog lay at the end of the hallway, staring at the staircase up to the second floor. On the second floor, there were 2 of 3 that was laying in their bed sleeping. The last one wasn’t even in their bedroom...

The bathroom door was shut, you could hear hot water hitting the ground. It was steamy and hot. Nobody was showering. A blade lay beside the shower, under the toilet. The blade was a small one that once was used to get rid of unwanted hair. But now it was filled with blood...

The shower curtains where was hiding whatever was laying there. And that whatever now has skin as pale as a dry chicken. The hair on its head covered the face, it lay on the side, the facing the curtains. It had arms, legs, and looked just an average human. Both its arms stretched towards the curtains; the right hand barely hit its tip to the curtains.

The right arms wrist had loads of old cuts. But the blood wasn’t running out from there. No, it was from the throat. This humanoid creature didn’t have a pulse anymore...

It was too late for this creature to get help, it was too late for this creature to regret...

No more, chores.

No more, yelling.

No more, pain.

No more, school.

No more, work.

No more, coldness.

No more, awkward conversations.

No more, need for acceptance.

No more, depression.

No more, waiting…

No, more love.

No more...

N... no more, joy.

No... more, warmth!

No more, friends.

No more, future.

No... more...

There’s nothing here!

No, vision.

No, feeling.

No, second chance...

There’s only a void... an infinite void!

No, future...

Its only loneliness...

and regret!
