Pencil, paper, a person, sitting across the room, surrounded by students. To pass the test, the goal was to finish drawing his figure.
As the light shined through his face, our eyes met.
"Where is he looking?" Noon got himself thinking. The guy's eyes moved back and fort, after Noon finished drawing it.
To check if the proportions are right. He gazed back and their eyes met. But to his surpise. The guy immediately looked away. "Did I stared too much?"
Noon decided to draw the shape of his ears, its becoming red the longer Noon stared at it.
Continuing, Noon took a glimpse at his jaw. It was sharp but soft. In order to get the proportions right, he needs to lay out the sketch first.
"His jaw just moved."
Noon reached out for the eraser.
The shaped is almost layed-out but then, his jaw moved, again. Noon looked at the guy's whole face.
He was smiling, eyes closed, ears red.
"Is there someone he likes in this room?"
Then as if on cue, the guy opens his eyes and looked directly at Noon. This time he didn't looked back.
Both held breaths for as long as they can before they decided to look away.
