There was a certain bewitching buzz I got from fighting and hunting. Maybe it was the pride of knowing I could protect myself. Maybe it was the feeling of immortality from winning each fight. Or maybe because I was playing goddess, choosing who deserves to live and who deserves to die. Whatever it is, I like it. It's more energizing than sleeping, but I couldn't decide if it's more satisfying than eating.
'Which do you think is better, kitten?' I asked my wolf, Tigerlily. However, I like to call her kitten to get on her nerves.
'Fuck you,' She growled. Looks like my girl was in a real mood today.
'If you insist-'
'Do you want my opinion or not?'
'No, I just wanted to socialize with my dearest kitten,' I sarcastically spoke.
'Just focus on finding some prey,'
'Who pissed on your territory?'
'You,'
'As much as I enjoy talking to you, I should focus on finding prey. You are my favorite kitten!' I closed off our link before she could show off her kind vocabulary.
I wonder why she is acting this way. Not her attitude, that's normal, but her anxiety worries me. I took my mind off of her and raised my snout in the air. A pleasant aroma of mock oranges attacked my nose. Out of nowhere, I started feeling dizzy and nauseous. Only smashing my head on a boulder could replicate the pain I was feeling there.
'Run away from that scent, now! I'll tell you when to stop!' She forced her way back into my mind, despite the consequences it could have on my health. I didn't argue, I did exactly as she said. Tigerlily would never use force to get back into my mind, unless the situation was dire. Three hours straight of sprinting at full speed, left me exhausted when she told me I can stop.
'You should hunt, then find a cave to sleep in. You'll need fuel and sleep so we can run more tomorrow.' Even though I felt like passing out, I still nodded. This might be my only chance to find food while we're running from the mock orange wolf.
I didn't have to search for long before I picked up a tasty scent, a moose. The moose was in a large patch of grass in the forest I was in. I studied my prey, waiting for the perfect time to move in. It only took a few minutes for the creature to let its guard down. Steadily, I stalked closer to it. With every step I checked the moose, making sure it wasn't suspicious. When I was just over a leap away, I made a rookie mistake and leaves crunched beneath my front paw. The prey's head snapped to me so fast, I thought it broke his neck.
The moose darted off into the woods, and I took off as well. The ground was rough, uneven, and loose. Those were not optimal conditions for my calloused paws, which were more accustomed to stable, rocky ground since I lived in the mountains before the invaders came.
'The prey is going to outrun you,' Tigerlily taunted. I growled, rebalanced myself, and swiftly gained on my prey. After a few agonizing seconds, my claws dug into the moose's flank and tore at it. When I smelt blood, my senses heightened. I flung my body onto its back. Was crumpling under my weight a silent way to call me fat? Moose are huge dicks, so probably...
I sunk my canines into its neck, savoring the taste of blood. I got my dinner.
'Thanks to me,' My wolf smirked. She had relaxed after we got away from the smell.
'Yes, thank you for angering me,'
'Anytime, Sirena,' She winked. I ignored her and started feasting on my prize. I only got a few chunks swallowed when I felt Tigerlily pacing. 'Someone is coming! We need to leave!' All her previous smugness got replaced with worry. Damn, she has more mood swings than me during my period.
'We can fight him, I'm not abandoning my kill,' I snapped at her.
'Forget about the prey, we'll kill a new one later!'
'I haven't eaten in two weeks! I won't be able to hunt again, you saw how clumsy I was,'
'He's here...'
'Who?!' The aroma of mock oranges returned from earlier. I resisted the urge to run towards the source of my new favorite fragrance.

We've all heard stories of rogues who are "wild", but what about rogues who are completely feral? Rogues who are more wolf than human. Wild isn't a strong enough word to describe Sirena Rhea. She was abandoned in the woods as a child, and had never heard of mates before. The only thing she grew up knowing was survival of the fittest. So what happens when the moon goddess pairs up the savage girl with a tamed, prideful alpha? Well, let's just say it isn't pretty...

"Why are you attacking me?! I'm your mate!" He growled. Aggression, I could sense it in his voice. If I don't kill him now, he'll kill me. I catapulted him off, making his body hit the ground with a thrilling thud. Without hesitation, I got on top of the man and tore into his stomach. I didn't want to waste my energy, so I left him there to die. I forgot about him, until he came back and locked me away in a cage...
