Soham usually avoided parties since, well...It wasn't fun at all. Having a nice sleep or reading mangas was way more to his taste and his friends were aware.

"It's cool of ya for coming" Luke dabbed him up finishing on a tap of the shoulder.

"It's normal bro" Soham looked to the closed door "How is he ?"

Luke clicked his tongue as tilting his head after what he firmly grabbed Soham's neck nape "We can't do much 'bout it anyway, let's just be here for him ya know" They thus headed to the smell of weed and alcohol.

Entering a foggy room Kai was lying on the floor like a starfish while getting his hair pet by Mia whom was laughing with Caleb.

Mia shone brighter "SOHAM !" She jumped up, loosing balance and bursting in laugh "DAS CRAZY HAHA"

Her arms enclosed him and her chest pressed against his flat one. Soham was a stick, standing there waiting for it to be over with a tense smile.

"WATCHA DOING HERE ??"

"Well..." Soham nodded toward Kai.

Mia's mouth shrunk "Ohhh" The index going over her lips she drunkenly approached Soham, whispering "Shhhh, it's a forbidden topic"

He squinted his eyes to the strong scent of vodka "Ight Ight" and backed away to sat next to Starfish man.

"Sup dude" he looked down to Kai's blank face. Light was missing in his gaze.

Kai didn't respond. The entire night, not a single word came out of him.

It was painful to watch for everyone but they kept having fun in the hope for the partying environnement to boost Kai up, which didn't.

As it was getting late, Soham went back to his apartment while the others crashed at Luke's.

Kai barely slept, surely not because the ceiling was very much attractive this night. Two minutes ago he had checked his phone for the hundredth time, and yes, he was still blocked from every social media to his phone number.

The next morning was not different.

"Kai" Luke handed a bottle of water "....It will take time to move on but believe me ya will, even if it seems really impossible for the moment"

"Yeah...It does feel impossible" He mumbled with a hoarse voice then took the bottle "...How did u do it ?"

"I focused on myself and stayed busy" Luke tapped Kai's skull "You got this dude"
