I don’t even know why this happened to me. 

As soon as I wake up from sleep. The picture frame on the wall suddenly fall and face slam me. I try to toast my bread using my usual daily toaster but somehow the toaster breaks and toast my bread into charcoal. I try to take a good warm bath in the cold morning but my heater breaks as well. I go to school, trying to escape the misfortune at home. But on the way walking to school, the rain pours heavily and I arrive at my classroom heavily drenched. Well, I escape my early morning class to dry off somewhere but somehow I get picked off by my seniors who were ditching morning classes as well. 

And here I am now, after some other misfortunes that I don’t even want to say, I am laying on the grass, beside a river while lamenting my whole day that equal to my whole life’s misery. 

“Haaa….” I sigh. 

I sit up and watch the red sunset. After contemplating for a long time, I have decided to go home. Maybe after tonight’s sleep, everything will be better. The start of a new day means the resets of fortune right?

After I stand up, I don’t realise my shoe ties are untangled causing me to accidentally step on it. I lost my balance and slam my face to the ground. 

Urghhhh… Start a new day with face slamming and this will surely end my day with another face slamming. I tie the shoe ties back and proceed to quickly go home. 

I don’t want to face this anymore. Just let tomorrow come sooner!

I kick a stone along the way in frustration. The stone goes flying, hitting a pole and then a signboard and lastly, me.

Huh, me? 

That’s what I think when I feel my body losing its balance once again. My current position is right on the hill, just beside the river. So, that’s why I feel my body is flying.

I go splash into the river, enveloping myself with cold water.

Wait! I can’t swim!

I try to float myself but my whole body suddenly cramps. I slowly descend into darkness and the oxygen that fills my lungs start to run out. In that short moment before the complete darkness, I see that stone I kicked earlier, falling down, accompanying me to the darkness.

[Hey, wake up, human!]

Huh? 

[You lazy ass! Wake up right now!]

I…. keep hearing a voice.

[Ah, it’s falling.]

What…. Is falling?

SLAM!

“Ackk!”

I quickly sit up after feeling the pain on my face. Weird… It seems like it has been happening a lot to me recently. 

When I open my eyes, I meet with unfamiliar scenery. 

“Huh… Where am I?”
