I've always heard the phrase: "be 
careful what you wish for".
  But I never really took it seriously,
 because most of the time people make a
 storm 
in a teacup, right?!

 And why would I need to be careful with
 my wishes if they wouldn't come true!?

 That's what I thought not long ago...

 It's amazing how things can change 
overnight...

 [hours before]

 I was at school and as usual teacher 
Hayato decided to lengthen the class until
 the 
bell rang, I never liked him very much, 
but this time I was really annoyed, 
because Mayumi was waiting for me outside 
the school, and God only knows what how 
scary she can be when she's angry...

 As soon as the bell rang I threw my 
materials as quickly as possible into my 
backpack and ran towards the school 
entrance.

 It was possible to see Mayumi from afar 
with her arms crossed and an incredible 
frown on her face.  It was always easy to 
find her in the middle of crowds because 
being the daughter of foreigners the 
Mayumi had black skin and no Asian traits,
I always found it funny to see her long 
hair as dark as night contrasting with her
 eyes as clear as day, but my best 
friend's beauty aside - because let's face
 it that is a cat - she was so irritated 
that you could see a dark aura hovering 
over her.

 Carefully I approached and immediately 
she said:

 - Late again Miss Shirozaki Izumi!

 - Sorry Mayumi... it's just that Hayato 
was teaching and you know he loves long
 classes until the bell rings...

 - Okay this time I forgive you... Hey 
Izumi, me and the guys got to know that 
there's 
going to be a party nearby today, what do 
you think about coming with us!??

 - Ehhh... It won't give Mayu...

 - And what happened this time!?

 - It's just that today launched a new 
level of In Peacetime: The Dimitry's Reign
 and I've been waiting for it to launch 
here in Japan for almost a month, and not 
to mention that the creator said that the
 first people who complete the level would
 have a surprise. .. I really want to know
 how the story will end and also what the
 surprise will be...

 She looked at me with a face that says 
"I knew it" and said:

 - That's what you get to have a gamer 
friend!  -she said in a joking tone-

 - Really sorry Mayu... Next time I'll go 
with you.

 Before saying goodbye I could hear her 
murmuring "you always say that", I said 
goodbye and went straight home...
