Orion Point of View

I was brutally ripped away from my much needed beauty sleep, because My mom Mrs." I like to suddenly slam on the breaks because I cant drive" almost  ran into someones bumper, and since my head went straight into my dads seat she instantly started bombarding me with questions. Stupid ones, like " Are you okay?" and "Were are you hurt" while my dad sits in the front seat with a confused look smeared on his face. My mom pulled over and reached into the back seat and tried to inspect my face, but right before her grubby hand made contact I quickly  grabbed her hand and threw it back into her direction, my eyes throwing daggers at her confused and watering ones. My father noticing the pained expression on my mothers face  looked at me as if he was about to cuss me out, disgust clearly evident on his face.

 But he was clearly having trouble finding the words to voice his obvious disappointment, and anger but all that came out was a muffled "Why?" I just shrugged, because if I told him I didn't want her greasy hand rubbing all over my face  he wouldn't really like the answer. So he slunk back into his seat shoulders slump in  defeat, as both of my parents continued what they were previously doing, my dad focusing on his crossword puzzle while my mom wiped her eyes and directed her attention back onto the road ahead. I was given a short explanation to where we were going. Both, my parents said we were all  going to a nice vacation at a lodge, and I wasn't complaining but I would at least  like some background information on this place. 

 Especially since my parents randomly took me out school for awhile, and again I'm not complaining but this was pretty random and I deserve a break. After all the doctor appointments, and vaccination records my parent dragged me to pick up with them and that's not even touching the fact that i had to get several shots in the process. I think a vacation is well deserved. But this whole process has been pretty shady there planning something or maybe this is an apology for dragging me to random  places all week. But I can further lose my self to my thoughts, when we get to the "Vacation Spot" but for now I need some quick shut eye I rest my head on my seat and drift of into a dreamless sleep.
