• Kuri-mu: translated means cream. In Immortal years she is 3,000 because 3,000 years ago she was transformed form a mortal, whose heart was pure, to an immortal. But in human years she’s only seventeen. She was sent to Earth to find someone who truly lovers her, and if she fails she can never return.

• Chou: translated means butterfly. An ancient butterfly spirit who was created from one of the most beautiful butterfly on Earth. Chou is over 20,000 years old, and is Kuri-mu’s guardian. She goes to Earth with Kuri-mu to help her find true love, though she was against it from the start.

• Myou: translated means destiny. Myou is 17 years old. Myou is another one of Kuri-mu’s mortal friends. She finds out about Kuri-mu’s true identity and her mission at the same time as Keshi. Myou is the school’s culture expert. Her older brother, Hebi, fell in love with Kuri-mu and will do anything to keep her for himself.

• Keshi: translated means poppy. Keshi is 17 years old. Keshi is one of Kuri-mu’s mortal friends. After finding out about Kuri-mu’s true identity and her mission she decides to help her as much as she can. Keshi is the school jockey, but has a soft side that no one else knows about.

• Tetsu: translated means iron. Human age 27; immortal age 28,000. True identity-Yaiba, meaning sword. Yaiba was sent to watch over Kuri-mu along with Mitsukai, his sister. Their mission is to keep Chou and Kuri-mu safe from the immortals who were banished from the immortal realm.

• Koneko: translated means kitten. Human age 26; immortal age 27,500. True identity- Mitsukai; meaning angel. Mitsukai was sent to watch over Kuri-mu along with her brother, Yaiba. Their mission is to keep Chou and Kuri-mu safe from the immortals who were banished from the immortal realm.

• Hana: translated means flower. Hana is 190,000 years old and is one of the elder immortals. Hana is in charge of the library of knowledge, which is where records are kept both for the human and immortal realm. These records hold information about everyone, and everything from the past, present, and the future, which always changing. It also holds record of immortals who were banished from the realm and lists their charges.

• Hebi: translated means snake. Is 19 years old. Hebi is Myou’s older brother and best friend to Kinshiro. He has fallen in love with Kuri-mu and will do anything to keep her for himself. But his love for Kuri-mu is not shared.

• Kinshiro: translated means gold castle. Age 19. Best friend to Hebi. Both he and Kuri-mu like each other, and could possible be the only one to save her. He is the school’s most handsome boys, but doesn’t believe it to be so. He doesn’t learn Kuri-mu’s secret till she was forced to return to the immortal realm, and Chou asked for his help. Kinshiro is the only one who can save Kuri-mu from the evil of the banished immortals.

• Akuma: translated means devil, human name- Neko meaning cat. Immortal age 98,000, human age 18. She is one of the immortals who posses evil magic skills and was banished from the immortal realm. Akuma want to make Kuri-mu fail her mission and she wants to turn her. She as well as many others wants the “pure” immortals to be no more. In order to stop Kuri-mu from completing her mission she and Shou take the form of two mortal high school students. (TBA)

• Shou: translated means destroy, human name- Inu, meaning dog. Immortal age 98,500, human age 19. He wants to help his sister Akuma and the other banished immortals. But along the way he meets Kuri-mu, and falls in love with her. Not knowing that Kuri-mu is a “pure” immortal, he tries to make her his own, and will destroy anyone who tries to stop him. Including his own sister and their followers. In order to stop Kuri-mu from completing her mission he and Akuma take the form of two mortal high school students. (TBA)

• The immortals that were banished from the immortal realm became known as the Kira- Buzoku, or killer clan. There mission in their never ending life, is to destroy all “pure” immortals. When an immortal is banished, they lose their immortal name and is given a new, hateful name. (TBA)
